that car used to run 245/40/17 up front and 235/40/17 out back, and thats without those flared fenders. with those new fenders on those are seriously way fatter!!!!

Accurit Performance sells that grill...look for him in the vendor section.

No worries with throwing up rocks to chip the paint there. And I thought my mud flaps were excessive.

Although I like it, that is a case of function over style guys. I'm sure it is purpose built. looks like a Pike's Peak type of car

oh yeah it's totally function over form... aerodynamics make a car look sexy :) Actually I'd be willing to bet this car runs in the same league as that HKS Altezza... the one w/ the whole carbon fiber body and HUGE turbo's... if those two cars (HKS and Scooby) compete in some kind of series that isn't televised in the states... I'm moving!

i'm assuming that is a pic DURING the modding process... if that's the final look, very sloppy.... very.... i like the mercedes touring car concept though....

With an offset like that, I doubt Subaru will warranty his wheel bearings! ;)

It looks sloppy because it is a racing car. They aren't exactly pretty close up, in many cases.
| Asinus | 11-20-2001 01:56 AM |
Can someone explain to me the physics of the backward hood scoop?
| bsquare | 11-20-2001 01:56 AM |
Air is drawn in through the front bumper across the intercooler and exits from the hood vent (formerly the scoop). The car doesn't have a top-mount intercooler like a stock WRX.

Anyone know who owns the car or who made the flare kit?
Anyone know where this picture came from?
Im guessing the pictures are from hyperrev issue #28?

What is the name of the wheel?
| Keiho | 11-21-2001 01:25 PM |
Looks to be Volk Racing LE37s.

Awww crap. Now I have more drool to clean up! HAHAHAHA
| garface | 11-21-2001 06:27 PM |
A vacuum is formed behind the scoop which sucks out hot air. How come nobody on this thread is saying it's a Volvo?
| TampaWRX | 11-21-2001 06:33 PM |
Whatever it is, I bet it is a BLAST to drive! Come to papa, you mean looking little wench!
