"Crashed" my 05 STI and...

the front bumper got smashed (car swung sideways - front bumper hit high curb). I've got an appointment wih my Subie dealer in the morning to get an estimate, but I'm also thinking about with going aftermarket. I haven't seen on done much research on what's available (in reagrds to aftermarket bumpers) for the 2005 sti.

Any idea on the replacement cost (minus labor) for the OEM bumper?
Any suggestions on aftermarket ("direct fit") bumpers?
-links, pics, etc

I'm pretty bummed out (obviously) and info is much appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. At least it's nowhere as severe as last time I'm sure.

I don't think it's going to be easy to get aftermarket front bumper for the latest model impreza in north america yet.

Very cool! thanx gang. Keep the ideas, suggestions, links, etc coming. I'm hoping the damage is restricted to the bumper, I drove it home afterwards and it seemed to drive fine.

Man I hope you are alright. Did you take the bumper cover off and see what was done to the support and stuff like that?

I have an OEM 2004 support you can buy for the cheapness if need be. Let me know what the adjuster dood quotes it for and I'll beat him. You pocket the difference. ;)

Or you can buy my JDM one too if you want, it's lighter up front where it matters.
