I signed up for SM- I love Peru and the South Bend region is only doing 1 day this year- which I think sucks!!!! Phil, Nate, Matt, Tom, KC... anyone else gonna come????

Didn't you do a JDM engine swap? I thought those were no longer legal for SM? :confused:

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it puts you in Modified. The moutons.org site doesn't show it but I remember hearing it from a friend of mine who did a JDM swap. :(

I'd like to make it to at least one event with crazy competition to see where I stack up.

I believe you can still swap any Subaru engine into an SM car. As far as I understand, there was a clarification that you can't run non-USDM [i]cars[/i] in SM.

You can swap in any engine you want no matter where it came from, you just can't use a CAR that originated from another country.
Damon I just did an event in Peru last weekend and PAX'd pretty high among some national trophy winners, so you better have the car dialed in. :D
What day are you doing, the Saturday or Sunday event? We have an event at Miller Park on Sunday.

won't be there for that event, but I will be there for the Cen-Divs on May 29-39, July 31-Aug 1 and possibly the tour and pro events there too. You should definitely consider those events.

Of the 4 big Peru Solo II dates, that's the one I anticipate making. Too many other things going on to attend more. I'll be lucky to get the minimum 3 CenDivs in so competing for a year end position isn't in the cards this year.
Toledo 1 day and Columbus are a done deal, but (any) Peru and the Flint 1 day are up in the air still.
I will be at the Toledo Tour, but most likely missing the Peru Tour.

Oh I didn't realize this was a cendiv event, I guess I can't read the title. I thought it was just a 2-day South Bend event. I'll do both days. I also plan on doing the Peru tour event and the Peru ProSolo.
