Prodrive lip vs. STi v1 lip

which one and why?
i have the prodrive on my car now but considering changing it up a little. heres a pic of my car now.

Prodrive!!!
Clean and more understated IMO...but I'm biased towards Prodrive :D
The STi V1 lip is clean also. Doesn't look like you can go wrong with staying or changing. I've always liked them both.

haha, ya. im baised too. i love my prodrive lip.
but for some reason the stock rear end looks naked w/o a lip. but im thinking it i did an oem rear lip itd throw off the prodrive... which is why im considering something else.

They both look great. I had a hard time choosing between them too, but went with the Prodrive.
I think the Prodrive also reduces front lift more than the STi, so that makes it better.

I'd go with the Prodrive, It reminds me of my Ver.6 lip on my car.

I am biased to my V1 lip :D I like the beefier look to it.

prodrive. not as many people have it and it looks sick. If you were to go with an STI lip i like v2 much more then v1. just my opinion.

Your car reminds me very much of my car (same IC, side skirts, lights, color of wheels, tint, etc.):

While I love the Prodrive lip, it just doesn't seem to have enough meat to it - almost like it isn't there, you know? But I'm bias, too, so what are you going to do? Either way, I thought I'd show you what your car would look like with the v1. (I'm want your hood so bad.)

I'd like to see a Prodrive lip for the wagons.
I don't mind the STi, except that it comes up higher on the side than the side skirt, which looks silly and doesn't keep the lines clean IMHO.

That's the ONE thing that I don't like about it either. I think I'm going V1 eventually but that part bothers me.

I LOVEEE the V1 lip, but the Prodrive is more practical (V1 lip looks like it adds alot to the bottom of the bumper)...and it is alot cleaner/subtle which I like.

both are great, but I prefer the V1, it's a bit more aggressive, and still very clean/understated

The Prodrive does look like it's almost not there sometimes. That is why I'm thinking about getting a CF splitter, should give it a more aggressive look.
I also like my Prodrive because I almost never scrape it, I have Prodrive springs too.

I would but then I would have to deal with the issues of having two holes from the OEM front lip I have now. I don't think the Prodrive lip would cover them and plus I have a White Subie so then I would have to repaint yours :( ;)

V1 sits on the outside of the bumper and will leave scratches if you ever decide to change lips again. I had the V1, took it off, and now have to repaint the bumper. I scraped it a few times which would move it up the bumper about an inch, but that's all it took to scrape the hell out my bumper. I do like how simple it looks however. I'm saving for the Prodrive.
Edit: I'd like to call dibs on the Prodrive if you get rid of it. ;)

If you're gonna stick to the stock side skirts and rear, go with the prodrive, otherwise the sti lip is sweet!
