Where is Team O'Neil in the NE correct???
REDrum 09-17-2006 09:10 PM

We're in, as long as we can get Golf going. C 1, 2, or 3?

I'll muster marshalls and help from NESC too. Let me know what you need Tim
Wazoo Racing 09-17-2006 09:34 PM

Team O'Neil is in the northeast correct - northern New Hampshire to be specific.

Niall - its a C2 event (that's why I said its a Coefficent 2 in the post - DOHH!)

We will put out some more details soon.

Pastrana and Edstrom may run Team O rally for experience...maybe with Edstrom driving and Pastrana in the right seat? :D

No, it'll be in the "standard configuration."

Christian:

It might be a greater learning experience in the "non-standard" configuration.

When ACP and Marc Goldfarb changed sides for a rally two years ago, they found it to be not only enjoyable but a definite help in developing their teamwork inside the car.

Actually, I was only partially joking (nasioc does not have the appropriate smiley for this). Doug Woods brought up the Goldfarb/ACP example before I could. Rent yourselves a Golf and have a ball.

Travis cannot drive anything other than a Subaru due to contractual obligations, and we have a new car to test, for which this would be a suitable event. While I appreciate the advice, I think we'll go with our own game plan on this one.

Christian:

Not really advice. Just some co-drivers trying to see how fearless Travis really is. ;)

I'll be there to spectate as long as my schedule allows it.

Christian, can you release any info on the "new car" ? Differences or otherwise? As far as I know your old car just won the last event and was in tip top condition.

I'll have to swing in at VT car and get Lance to give me a look around.

I wish I could go... bad timing for me!

Could be good for someone else - if they want to rent my car for this event. Only available to reputable drivers I know, or who have someone I know that can vouch for them. Crew and towing package might be available as well. PM me for details.

Alex,

I may have to go to Baja to pre-run the 1000 that week, but if not, I'll be in touch about rental. Know anyone who can co-drive?

Hey man, I heard Kristin Chute was looking to co-drive. I also heard that she has been training with some premier Rally America co-driver in

I can. :)

No, seriously! If anyones looking for a navie thats experienced on both sides of the car (full national RA license) and as service crew (sometimes solo), has used tulips and notes from both sides of the car (including some recce experience), is very organized, thorough, is calm and adaptable in the car, has been around rallying for a long time, and lives about 2 hours from Tims PM me.

You can essentially see my resume HERE, though working on my masters has taken its toll for a little while on what Ive had the time or $ to do. :(

Im getting really anxious for a rally fix, especially after STPR this year

I wish I could find a cheap car to run.

I was trying to convince my driver to go but its too close to LSPR so we don't know if Squeeky will be rally ready...
