i don't think it's a big deal. just get it if you want a cell phone holder that looks like a recaro seat. i actually bought two fake ones in chinatown for like 4CAD. i haven't used them though.

Not rice, it holds cell phones. It was one of the first things I had in my WRX like 2 years ago. Make sure you don't let it scrape against the panel next to the cupholder though...

Why is this even a question? I maintain that rice is one of the dumbest, yet most commonly used phrases on this or any other forum. If you like it, put it on your car. How happy do you really think you'll be if you modify your car according to what other people want as opposed to your own opinions?

that's what i'm trying to say. who really cares? if you like it, buy it. and even aside from that, it also serves a purpose. i bought and use a broadway mirror knowing most regard it as being "ricey" but is it worth losing sleep over?

I bought one a few years ago. It is not rice imo but it didn't hold my particular nokia worth a crap. I would turn hard and phone would just depart the seat and float around the cabin.
