Coo idea for WING, can it be done easily?

I just did a quick photoshop job. I think this would look cool. Its looks nice in my opinion. Thanx to whoevers picture this is I chopped, its not my car. I am considering doin this if possible.

The wing looks pretty nice, I like the bigger more wrc looking one on the wrx myself. I was just wondering what size those wheels are on that car? They're Rota Subzeros if I'm not mistaken, and I really like how they looks. Probably a stupid question but I'm new to all this. Thanks!

yeh i forgot on which thread i got this pic, not my car.:) They are rota subzeros but forgot what size they are. Yeah i like the rally type wings too, but i like to be different and wanted a less aggresive look. This wing is the MY00 rs stock wing. Better looking than wrx wing i think.:)

i think its just that thescale is a bit off.....but i think it looks good, there was another thread a few days ago that was discussing this and apparently the old school rs wing does not line up properly, but hey good luck to you:D

Are you talking about this wing? If so, maybe I'm wrong here, but that looks like a regular 2.5 RS wing to me. Maybe my monitor is playing tricks on me :D

Need4Mods, that is your standard GC8 2.5RS Coupe spoiler, but since it doesn't fit well onto the GD style Impreza, I think they are saying that an aftermarket company should make a replica that will fit:rolleyes:

correct...don't worry though, you can reach through the rear armrest:D ...someone photoshop off the 2.5rs stickers and make the wing a bit larger, it'll look good then.

That looks exactly like the stock wing on my MY98 RS. Looks sweet on the WRX though. Nice work chief.

You know I was actually wondering this morning what a GC8 coupe wing would look like on the WRX. Not as good as I hoped, but I only thought that cause I have an RS coupe wing that i need to get rid of :)

I'm getting a WRX in September.. probably a 2003. The only options I want on it are the armrest extension and spoiler... seeing this though, makes me think I don't even want the spolier as an option. :)

yeh i think it would look ok with rs spoiler, but trunks are different shape, would have to get a bodyshop to custom fit it somehow, its just a photoshop pic, so dont know exactly how it would look or fit in person, but looks like it might work

I emailed the guys at MRT to confrim this, but the item description said that it fit all imprezas so I would assume that it would fit our rex's as well.

Sorry guys, I just heard back from MRT and they said it wouldn't fit, "The Group A spoiler will not fit the new shape Imprezas, only the older MY93-00 style sedans." Oh well, I'll just keep looking.
