debadged or no debadged? part 1

wrxited 11-06-2004 02:05 PM

debadged or no debadged?
Ok, should I debadged my 04 STI or not? I've seen some without them. I was thinking about just taking the "Subaru" part off and leaving the WRX and STI. What you guys think? And does anyone have any pics of debadged STI's?
AdamRX 11-06-2004 02:08 PM

I just did mine today! No pics but it looks better. I just took the Subie part off and left the WRX. If I had an STi I would just leave the STi badge on. Sweet...

I debadged the subaru and wrx off of my sti and I like it, i'll try to post some pics in a bit. Cheers!

johnnywu 11-09-2004 11:40 AM

well keeping this thread alive.... whats the best way you guys have come across in debadging? what did you use? how did you not scratch the paint?
CattyGirl 11-10-2004 10:55 AM

I think it looks better with at least the 'subaru' taken off. Just my lil opinion.

I used floss.
kennyvb 11-10-2004 11:15 AM

i used a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive up; just use common sense with the amount of heat applied. the heat also helps to remove the rest of the adhesive off after the letters have been pulled off.
