sigma automotive front conversion kit?

Has anyone used this? I want to convert my 02 wrx to the 04 front end look, and this kit says it comes with JDM HID PROJECTORS!, and everything you need including hood, bumper, etc...

you are looking about 3,200. in parts and about 2,000 to install..If it was me i would not spend that much money on the 04 look

i love the 02-03 look. didn't like the small foglights on the 04. keep it the way it is. IMO looks more like a subaru than the newer ones.

i have a friend thats about to do this, i will keep you posted. sigma is very pricey, but everything is legit, new subaru parts. guranteed fitament yada yada yada. ya gotta pay to play, it would look awesome.

i am kinda psychotic, and I just bought my 02, in late 02, and now they changed the look and I want to have the latest look, and also IMHO, the chargespeed v1 kit looks imho the best any suby has looked :)

So as soon as you drop 5k to make your 02 look like an 04, teh new body type may infact be out.... then what?
If you realy like teh 04, then just buy one. Your car plus 5k will probaly do the trick.

hmm interesting article indeed...
i doubt my 02 i could sell it for more than 15k, it's got 52,000 miles on it :0 yes I know.. I drive too much :(, but hopefully soon the sti 6mt is going in, and some other goodies, so she still runs like new, just doesnt look like it :(

im also going to go w/ the 2.5rs hood when i do the conversion, cause i hope to get a FMIC at the same time :)

STOP COPYING ME YOU TRACER!!!! my car is undergoing the conversion right now!!!!!! BLAH should be done next week. oh and my spedo reads 260mph and a 10k redline ;) gotta love spec c clusters :)

it says km/h but it actually shows miles. so when im going 60 thge needle is only 1/4 way up. pretty weird. i have a converter inline with the speed reader that converts teh km/h to miles. so technically my spedo reads 260. ;)

if it will cost you close to 5,000 wouldn't you be better off to just sell your car and buy an 04?

in some ways, yes, and some ways no.
If you can only get $15000 for your 02 or 03 wrx, you would need to pay $10000 to get an 04. Plus you would need to remove all the mods and stuff.
I got mine done for roughtly $5000, plus a full paint job, with more clear so that the cheap scooby paint won't chip as easy.
Plus how many MBP 04 wrx's do you see?

jdm junkyard. you didn't use the fenders from an 04 did you? it looks like you had the 03 fenders cut to match.

all 04 parts there. none of the 03 parts can be used...even the hood liner is difference, and also all the seals for the scoop, and hood are different. You will need everything.

are you sure? maybe its just the picture, but the shape of your fender looks different than the shape of the one in the silver wrx at the beginning of the post.

the silver car in the beginning has chargespeed fenders. my friend is also doing the 04 coversion to a sonic yellow wagon. it will be unique.

oh, i didn't know the chargespeed kit came w/ fenders. so if you bought the whole kit, you wouldn't need to get the 04 fenders.

the kit does not "come" with the fenders. you have to get them separate. but yes if you get the chargespeed fenders you dont need to get the stock 2004 ones.
