Wow, beautiful stuff
Undepelo 10-20-2004 03:35 PM

If they offered that in the US, they probably couldn't keep up with the demand!
Rallycarperson 10-20-2004 04:03 PM

Plus they would be outraguously priced, like they already are. In my opinion, if they were more practical on their prices, and carried SOJ's full line of accessories, they might have something working for them. I mean come on, who's actually paid the price on one of those $$$ STi mufflers? I'd like those JDM STi or WRX seats...but we get seats for fat gringos.
Needles 10-20-2004 08:35 PM

If someone makes it, I"m sure you can buy it.

Some of those stuff is made by kenwood. (what i mean to say is, i'm not sure but these items may not be exclusive to subaru oj) soo i'm sure some of that stuff is available outside of Subaru oj (but in japan somewhere), unless the have exlcusive contracts with subaru oj. anyone in japan can probably pick any of those items up at their respective deallers.. the trouble is we're not in japan.
snvin 10-21-2004 02:29 PM

Sure... You can talk them down from gouging both of yer eyes out... maybe they'll just take one.

I've been to Japan, and I've always been amazed by the in-car navigation systems they have there. Even taxis will have a nav systems with a 3d map of Tokyo on it, complete with large buildings and stuff on it. The thing of it is, Japan has a smaller surface area than California, and even then some of these systems are only good for smaller regions. Their cell phones are awesome too, but most of the stuff is just inherently incompatible with American standards. Granted, you should be able to mate a nav system up to any GPS because of GPS standards, but most of them use DVD maps, and it's not guaranteed that they'll be able to read our map packs.

Just my $.02, and I don't claim to know alot on the subject.

True - The position is from the sattelite, but the maps themselves are off of a DVD... at least this is the way it is in my sister's '03 Accord.
