Anybody know? If you get this thread lock because you don't like clear tails I will be mad. Like I care if you like them or think they are you-know-what. It's my car, I'll do whatever I want to it.

I agree with you and like them also. I know how much hatred there is towards these kind of tail lights, but the tone of your post probably wont get you many reply's. I don't know who sells them, but if you search for clear tail lights in this forum I'm sure you will find some info. Good Luck.

Why don't you search for clear tail lights on this forum and then you will why my post has the tone it does. Don't mean to seems rude (to you) if that's the way it sounds.

I feel your pain. I made the mistake of saying I liked Clear tail lights and get ripped for it. Like you said It's your car so do what you want to do to it. I think it will look clean.

I don't know about anywhere else, but in florida, they don't really care as long as the bulbs are red, and your turn signals are amber.

I too like nicely designed clear tail lights. I also got reamed for posting about them. I was never able to find them though. Good luck in your search.

Dont know about the tails, they are okay but i love that bumper and side skirts. Anyone know where to get em? Any pics of the front. Wish i could find a nice body kit for impreza that doesnt have a mouth big enough to scrap a cow up off the highway.

I think most people on the club are more mature than they used to be, but of course to each their own. I personally am mixed about clear Impreza taillights... On that car they look real good, on my Impreza L they would look like crap. Personally, I think those would be a completely custom job, I've never heard of anyone brave enough to produce clear tails in bulk...

IMHO, you would be doing a great dis-service to all the beloved subaru owners from way back if you do.

They could be custom. The glass looks really frosted, and the inside looks like its spray painted silver. I've seen people do this, First brake the origional lense off, paint the insde silver if its not already, then heat up some plexi-glass and mold a new lense. then you can frost the glass for the same look. I guess it would be worth a try if u have an extra pair of tails.

the tailights are sold in france, i read once about a place called ace tuning who put them on a project car with another tuning shop over there.
but i dont have the number with me right here
the only way you could meke your car a little bit more legal with that is but putting 2 red reflectors on your bumper, i know someone who did that and no hassle with the cops

those lights on that impreza are just covered with some white tape, it makes a pretty good effect in my opinion. In real life it looks even better than on the picture.

JC the best bet is find an AU site that has a forum on car shows in AU and NZ I would bet that was a one off job. If you wanna make a set call cadilac plastics in warren for the plastic and advice on heating and appying. I will help ya. I have called them before with such projects and they have been helpful just don't ask them to make them or they will give you prices that will make you cry.

I think the blue car behind the impreza is a Ford Fiesta which you guys don't have in the US (your lucky guys)
The other one in orange is the Audi A3.
As far as i can see all Hp less cars with lots of boom boom stuff.

i think those tails are DIY, never seen anything like that..prior to this.
