Me and a friend took my STi down to Charleston, WV for a autocross sunday and here are the results from it.

My friend took 4th overall in my car, and I took 12th. I was impressed with the performance of the the car straight off the floor. Nothing was done to prep the car, used the RE070s also.
Just thought I would post the results and see what you guys think.

Nice results. Question, were these the overall FTD times? Did you compete in A Stock or some other class?

yes those are the raw FTDs and we ran A Stock.

Wow, only 33 entrants? That's a pretty small event for sure. Must be nice to be able to get a lot of extra seat time in. :)

Let me rephrase.
The car comparison in the 1st post of this thread as well as 95% of local events is pointless. There are some where national drivers will compete in the same classes, but its not very often.

It seems the point is that if you don't got no fast drivers locally in your class the results don't say much other than your the fastest slow guy there. "welcome to the bottom!".

Seriously, the STi is a great car (as is the Evo, S2000, Honda CRX, Pontiac Grand Am -- had one of those). Just keep driving it, and post next month when you are #1!! :D [no one can give you AS much crap then ;)]

Well for all flamers I have only ran in 2 events in last year and less than 10 in my life.
My friend has been autocrossing for over 13 years and took 4 overall, he was the one I was bragging about.
Also read the third post these are raw times in a stock STi.
