For the stubborn bugs that are really stuck in the paint, get a clay bar. Works magic.

+500
A double or triple coat of wax on the forward facing surfaces does a good job of preventing a painful cleanup too.

For most of the front end and side views, they have the "invisible bra". Just kinda worried about the radiator and the intercooler. Its a insect graveyard in there.

soak the car, soap up a sponge, and squeeze the suds over the bugs. Use a sponge with a soft inside with the rougher outer layer that has holes in it. It'll get the bugs off. For the ac/radiator, use the spray-n-wash power nozzle!

did you catch anything in the hood scoop
| wrxfactor | 05-18-2006 10:53 PM |
I just drove from Oklahoma to MA and I don't have anything close to that...strange.
| MF-DIF | 05-18-2006 11:22 PM |
Mine looked like that after just a 250 mile drive in FLA. I had a large wasp and dragon fly in the scoop along with misc other bugs.

I think you are a little confused here... SRT-4's are so fast that they vaporize the bugs due to the heat created at the nose of the car as they near the speed of sound.

Jack the car up and shoot the back of the radiator with some compressed air. If you don't have a compressor, you could buy one of those little cans just about anywhere.
+1 on the claybar
