Altezza Style Rear lights for Impreza
I've been looking for them but no luck... anyone know where to get them?

I've been trying to get them for a while and have so far failed. If you do a search (hate to say it) you will find several threads on this.

If you want your car to look like an Altezza, buy an Altezza. There is a VERY limited Subaru aftermarket, and it's mainly geared towards performance- I'd like the main focus to stay that way. We can work on show later.

Man, I used to like the Altezza's look.. But now, I can barely stand seeing those rears.. even on a REAL Altezza. All thanks to all the Altezzish posers.

People won't be happy until they're different... Notice how the red Altezza has covers over the lights? I bet if the Impreza came with (pick one: red/clear, Altezza, clear) lights, people would try to change it to a different one. actually they do make altezza for the impreza, I found them once and they look awsome...answer one question for my folks, why in the world would you want to pay $200 plus dollars for impreza tail lights that look almost identical to the factory ones? I don't get it

Why don't we just all paint our cars grey and leave everything totally stock, so that way there is no more rice or anyone being different from anyone else. Just a bunch of blah blah cars. Oh hell while we are at it why not just get rid of all the car mfgs. Just have one uni-model that everyone drives. We don't need any spice in life or anything else that would be "out of the ordinary"... JEESH!!!

There are quite a few cars with that kind of tail lights in my area. I've seen Prelude, Civic (coupe, sedan, and hatch), and accord with it. At first glance it looked kind of nice, kind of funky. But after a while it gets too fancy (the chrome part does not suit for every car). Altezza looks good with it because it was designed to have it. Imo Impreza is better left clean with stock lights.

I don't know I've always thought the stock lights were too plain...though they look good I'm more for show....I like stuff that flashes

What do you think about having the chrome part painted dark, metallic gray or black, to make it like those on S2000 and Supra?
I don't know, just an idea, I imagined it would look pretty mean :-)

I've never liked the Altezza tail lights. I think the best mod for them is to colour code the chrome bits, and leave the red part and the clear indicators alone. Just my opinion

I'm thinking that if someone made tailights reminiscent of the r32 skyline gtr's for the impreza, it might look good. Don't know though - just an idea.

IMO, red/clear looks the best on the impreza! can't imagine anything else. altezza, clear, supra, r33s, etc. etc., they belong back on their cars! how about legacy lights on imprezas or impreza lights on legacys?

again how can you justify paying $200 or more on some tail lights that look almost like the factory ones somebody explain this too me, I understand that it's based on personal opinion but for less than $200 i could get something like the altezza style and have something that looks like it's worth the money, to me buying the red/clear is just a waste of money. Also can you pull the orange out of the stock tail lights like you can the front corners?

Altezzas would look really terrible on a Suby, I think the only thing more ghetto would be a single wiper. ICK. Just smoke your tails, get some brighter bulbs and they look good as hell, thats all I did and it only cost me like $20

I just think that a lot of i-clubber's here were hopeing that the Impreza would remain an underground, non-trendy type of cult car. Not that the Altezza rears for you mean you're trendy at all, perhaps you dig the styling. However, many many MANY people rice their cars to death and the Altezza rears are just part of the standard rice trend mold...

can i just ask why all of us can't just grow up a bit and either answer the guy the correct way, or not post at all? I know this is a forum, but this guy is a newbie, just probably bought his car, is into a certain style, and was looking for some help. Why is it necessary for everyone to start giving his or her own opinion based on a style? We all know there is no such thing as bad style, or bad taste, but there is such a thing as bad and unnecessary opinions. Don't get all mad at me for posting this, but it just makes our club honestly look bad when a person just asks an innocent question, and we all basically throw our noses in his taste. Save the opinions for the "what do you guys think of...." posts.

I just smoked out the tails on my car-just enough to subdue the orange (which I can't stand). I used VHT niteshades paint which you can buy from summit racing for $6 a can. This way I can have my scoobie look a little better (in my opinion) and can spend the left-over $194 on go fast parts. It will have a turbo...soon. Anyway, I think it looks nice, and it gives the car a unique look. I haven't taken pictures yet, but if I do, I'll try and post them.
