Carbon Fiber hoods for RS 2 on EBAY Right now
Any one see them on Ebay $299.95 sells for 429.00 on the web site of the seller. Has anyone bought one or seen it? Sounds low on the price but maybe a good deal, thats less that a civic hood they have been posting one a week check it out if your in the market.

I usually just get on Ebay and search "Impreza" they are being sold by ProCarParts.com but there 425 on the web site if you ever buy stuff on Ebay now is a great time of year to place bids ebay trafic is so slow you can list for free right now, but no one is bidding witch is good if your buying when it gets here I'll let you know if its POS or not

When I got mine Shipping was only 89.95 so the total to my door was 389.98 thats not bad. Cant buy a honda hood for that and get it to your house.

i said 300 for a honda hood, and you could pick it up at about any performance parts store, said nothing about gc8 hoods, although i think its a rip because 110 bucks for shipping is not right....if the hood is sooooo light, why does it cost so much? and my bet is they wont let u pick it up either

Even 110.00 is about right for shipping from CA. On a box that size and that lite the shipping charges are based on size.

i paid 89.95 for shipping on mine....i'm just shot trying to find a hood scoop for the damn thing....foun some vents....but i can't find any place that sells stock scoops.....een tried the waned classifieds.....not working

We dont all live in Cali dude. Where can I drive to in less that 1 hour and get a CF hood for any car? I live in Detroit. You have turned this in to something it was never meant to be. You totaly flamed out the guy for offering GC8 CF hoods for a good price. If you ever stepped foot out side CA you would know we dont have Import speed shops on every corner in the midwest. So there are no hood for those prices around here. You seem to be missing the point of the thread.

the point of the thread was to tell you guys that its sounded like a good price 299.95 and that on the web site its 429...but in reality on ebay if u win its 110 bucks more than it should be....i know that dimensions are a big part of shipping.....but not that big...the hood is probably about 15 lbs.....dimensions im not sure....but it should not be more than 70-80 bucks...89 thats alright i guess.....but companies like that...if u won and said "could i pick it up" i assure you they would not let you since a lot of their profit is in the shipping charge

Fine by me, I dont want to drive to CA to pick it up. There is no way I could drive to pick for less than $1000.00 LOL your starting to see the light. I just shipped a box to CA it had to go by truck becasue it was to big for UPS 24X24X64 $105.00 for shipping charges based on size because it was lite 40lbs.
