window tint pics
 

i'm thinking about tinting my rear 3 windows 7% and front 2 35% and writing impreza or something across the front windshield and maybe something across the back too. if anyone has done something similar can u post some pics?? thnx!

I'm not sure if you got your windows tinted yet but if you look at my ride I had them do it all the windows at the legal limit (whatever that is).

how dark?
 

i have a black 01 RS sports coupe w/ a cf hood, soon a cf trunk, and cf interior trim, etc. in so ca, so limited on how dark, but what do you guys think is a gd % for pretty dark, but still able to see out at night ok?

I installed 20% Bronze tint first.
I installed 20% Black after that.
I believe the factory glass was somewhat tinted, we'll say 99%.

I think that leaves me with 3.96% tint. :D

BTW, I get out of tickets because I was diagnosed with having rather large pupils than the average joe. I have a Safety Enforcement document in both my vehicles. They only stopped me once in either car, then they put my name/plate on record. Works like a charm!

I put 20% in my wagon. At first I thought it would not be dark enough, but it looks dark! It does make it a little more difficult to back up at night, so you may want to go with a lighter grade if you do that a lot in dark areas.

how hard is it to see out the back window day & nite if it's 5 or 10%? what about 5 or 10% back window, 20 % rear side windows, and whatever is the legal amount on the fronts (would be none or very little)? anyone have that setup?

Looks different depending on background, lighting, etc. Most of the time it looks dark if your not looking "through" the car.

I currently have 35/20. But gonna change it to 20% all around. The different shades will bother you after a while, even though its the legal limit here. 5% is too dark for me.

20% is sick all around i got it dark enough when needed and light enough to look around even at night!
