Classy WRX

I have been going through pages and pages of posts where everyone shows off their latest and greatest wing or 18" wheel, but one thing I have not really seen is many posts of a more laid back, classy look. Does anyone out there have such a car? If so, I would definitely like to see it.
Thanks
Thanks

What would you describe as classy? 18's are not classy obviously, so maybe 17's? the stock wheels? I have a stock wing, is that classy or un-classy?
Just curious.

Sorry for being vague and accusatory. I do not mean that everyone with an aftermarket spoiler or 18" wheel has an unclassy car.
I guess what I am looking for is something elegant and subtle. Now obviously a WRX will always have a little bit of that in-your-face look, which I love, but I am trying to create something to crossover and have the best of both worlds.
So with that said, I want everyone who thinks they have a classy WRX to post a pic. :) I am not looking to pass judgement on anyone, I just want to get some ideas so I can acheive my goal. Also, I think that it is appropriate to include interiors in this discussion. That part of the car should not be left out.
Thanks again, sorry for the confusion.

I'd be interested to see what gets posted as well.

That is exactly what I was after. I think that is a great look. I know that is mostly factory parts, but that is a beautiful car.
What wheels and tires are those? Is the car lowered at all, or is that just the underspoilers giving that impression?
Also, what other mods are there? Headlights? I cant really tell from this angle if they are stock or not.
Thanks.

The wheels look alot like my Technomagnesio Indianapolis'. That pic makes me want the color matched sides and the front lip. Damn, something else to save for.

Agreed, color matched side skirts (whether stock or aftermarket) are definitely good looking on any WRX, from mild to wild!

Those wheels look like the Prodrive GC07...Rota has a replica of that wheel called the sdr. My car will look like that by the spring, once it comes out of the body shop..:( I'll have the zerosport wing extenders and the sdr's instead of the real thing but it will be a dead ringer..
| mizar | 12-05-2002 10:52 PM |
jesse is correct, they are prodrive gc-07s..
The car is also lowered on eibach springs.. probably the best mod i've done.. the stance of the car is greatly improved.. but it doesnt scrape on every little dip
Other exterior mods are EDM Headlights, sti grill, sti CF blinker covers, OEM body kit. I should have my painted mesh foglight covers next week (fingers crossed) And in the spring some window tint, and I am done! *phew*
thanks for the compliments on my ride guys :)

I love those wheels....I would buy them but I don't have the funds, so its the rota replica's. I'm hoping to save enough money to get the edm lights before they are impossible to find...Yes that car is very nice....mine will be a close clone. I allready have the sti suspension(lowered) the sti grill and the oem kit, I had a kaminari wing and legacy b4 wheels but they were destroyed. So I'm replacing it with the oem and wing extensions.
But again nice CLEAN car.

Very nice car... How much is your suspension lowered? I don't think I want to go that far, but just for my own knowledge, how much is that lowered?
Approximately, what are the prices of the Rota replica's and the Prodrive GC-07's? I have done some looking around, but I haven't even been able to find the 07's anywhere.
Thanks.

2OHOH2WRX: I like the look of your car, except I'd paint the grill blue to match the rest of your car, and maybe do a blackout on the FMIC. Other than that, its a beautiful ride.

I agree. very nice, especially the rear spoiler, kaminari? I see that you are tying in the grill and headlights through a black theme, but in my opinion (keyword, "my opinion") the grill would look much nicer painted blue.

The car is lowered like 1.4 in the front and 1.2 in the rear or thereabouts.
As for prices on the GC-07s.. they are nasty expensive :(
I got them from tirerack.. but they aren't carrying prodrive anymore.
The SDR's can be had for around 650 a set i believe (www.subydude.com)
If SDR's would have been out when I got my wheels, I would have got them instead..
The only advantage the Prodrives have over the Rotas is that the Prodrives are forged, which makes for a stronger wheel.. but at 650 for all 4 wheels.. you could replace 3 wheels for every 1 prodrive.

i too would've gotten the SDR's if they were out when i bought my wheels.
obvious mods here, subz's, morette hid's and, oem kit and STi scoop. i think they're subtle yet distinctive. dark and mean was my goal and i think i achieved it. also has turboxs stage1, autometer gauges and shift light, cusco front and rear strut bars

Thanks fellas. I am going for a black front look. If the look gets boring, I'll paint it all blue. I'll get Orciaris, and maybe black out the FMIC. It is a Kaminari wing :)

Being that my car is Yellow, I guess you couldn't consider it classy. An older guy (looks to be at least 50) in my neighborhood drives a Silver WRX sedan with about every possible part from the SPT catalog (minus the body kit and has no spoiler) with the OEM Optional 17" BBS wheels.......now that is a "classy" WRX.

is that an OEM front lip for Mizar's car?
