as long as the front windows are legal there should be no problems doing the rest as dark as you want.......as far as price i've seen anywhere from 85 - 150.....

I got 35% Lumar stealth tint all around. . .paid $175. In NJ, it's illegal for the front windows to be tinted and the rear windows can be as dark as you want. However, what I've found is that as long as you don't drive like an idiot and don't get tint that's too dark, the cops leave you alone. If I had gotten 20% around, I probably would have been pulled over already. :)

I paid 185 for tint all the way around. They also put a tint strip on front windshield.

I paid 189 for 15% all the way around.

Hmm. . Solidbreakz. . you say that to me in every tint post. Yet I still have never gotten pulled over. I don't know what you did to get pulled over so much. I guess it also helps that I know most of the cops in my town cause they used to ride with me on the First Aid Squad. Helps to mention it when you get pulled over. ;) I think it also has a lot to do with who's behind the wheel. I look very old for my age. :)

I paid $160 for Llumar Platinum Plus tint all the way around.
18% on the back
35% on the sides
50% on the front (which is not exactly legal here in AR)
It's got a slight metallic look to it depending on the lighting. When the sun is behind a cloud it has a nice platinum sheen to it.

I don't have my front sides tinted on my WRX. I did on my last three cars and I got a significant amount of tint tickets. I don't drive like an @$$hole....I have ZERO points on my license! I'm an EMT-D and all the cops in my town know my car, so I never get hassled for anything. It's outside my town that problems arise---specifically in Monmouth and Ocean counties. I'm not wishing you harm or bad luck...but the odds are against you :(

How dark did you get your tints? I only got 35% and I've been parked next to local cops and state troopers at lights and had no problems. My daily commute takes me from Marlboro all the way up to Morristown for work. On some days I go down to Princeton to see my gf and then back to Marlboro. I'm all over the place and haven't had any issues. . .and hope to not have any in the future *knock on wood*. :)
In any case, I could always bug my uncle to write me a doctor's note stating that I need tint for my sensitive eyes. ;)

I don't have the fronts tinted, just the rear sides and rear (20%). I don't have problems with my WRX...I said b4 that I DID have problems with my three former cars. The first car had sides @ 5%, second at 20%, third at 35%.....I got pulled over (and ticketed) for the 35% in towns such as Marlboro, Manalapan, Holmdel, Hazlet, Point Pleasant, Keansburg, Belmar, Spring Lake, and Seaside....
I wish you the best of luck...But I'm not TOUCHING my front windows:lol:

Hmmm
I've had my own Tint Shop, and I've Tinted over 400 cars! I think my work is good! Ask anyone local on I-Club.

$180 for 35% all around in a Wagon -- On another note however, for you people that have the platinum or titanium tint, do you have rainbows in your window when you wear polarized sunglasses?? This only happens in my car with polarized sunglasses -- I have the titanium tint (whatever that means, but I assume it's similar to the platinum), and there are rainbows across my windows in bright sunlight! Not terrible, but not ideal either.

Paid $240 for my wagon, in CT. Legal % depends on your state... here we can do 35%, that's what i got. I think a 25% would have looked a bit better though.

This thread is crying out for pics and a link to that website that had tint laws state by state.
