After waiting for a few days till weather clears up, I finally took pics during lunch today. I just ordered "BPM' and "Prodrive" decals so I will post them as soon as I get 'em. Click on small pics to view it full size.

Hey cnstman, you should've come say hi, I didn't see you! Tell me more about this CEL, has it happened before? Is it serious?
My radiator is actually leaking coolant. :( Looks like the replacement radiator didn't make it in today, so I'm stuck driving a Ford Escort for the weekend. What's even funnier is that I could've paid extra money to Hertz to "upgrade" to a Geo Prism.
Solidus, yes they are OZ Prodrives (P1s).
Saw, you are the only person who has noticed that! :) Very observant. I didn't even notice it until a few days later.

i did not see who was driving it when it pulled in the shop
i was checking in when at the desk when you pulled in, and i did not see you get out of the car. i would have introduced myself if i had saw you.
i got a cel pulling away from a stoplight. heuberger gave me a "freeze frame" printout of the cel. if you ever get a cel ask them for this. it tells you what speed, what engine load what speed, everything, very cool. they said the computer is soo sensitive that an air bubble can set it off?? who knows, i know if you check the warranty log in the warranty thread section there are a lot of cylinder misfire #3 codes. sounds like a proplem to me.
well good luck with that escort, and give it the old rental car beating!!! to bad we don't have some snow so you could do some e-brake slides!!!
what mods do you have other than those killer wheels?
later cnstman

Hey, sorry we didn't hook up. I hope I can meet you at the next meet at Suby Sports. :) And good luck with the CEL, I'm always scared to death I'll get one eventually.
Other than the rims, I have the H&R springs, the free intake mod, and a manual boost controller (poor man's mods, hehe).

malelee21: How did you mount your amp to the back of the seat. When I was trying to figure out where to mount my amps I noticed there wasn't really any support in the back of the seats. just that one bar and padding. did you fabricate a bracket to that bar?
| malelee21 | 11-10-2001 12:32 AM |
tegnwrx:
You need to drill the holes on the back of the seat. I can't think of other ways to mount the amp. Good luck!

I actually wanted to get 18" P1s but figuring it's bad for winter and ride quality sux, I've decided to go with 17"s.... my next mod is 1" drop spring mod and unichip.

Megatron:
Did you lower your car? I believe yours is 18" right?

Holy Crap dude! You live in Poughkeepsie?! I've never seen your car around ! Where in Poughkeepsie? Car looks good..I'll be looking for it :D
| megatron | 11-10-2001 06:51 PM |
malelee21, they are 17" just like yours. I also thought 18" would be too rough. I also have H&R springs which make the wheels look bigger in my opinion. Total drop was 1 1/4" in front and a little over 1/2" in back.
cnstman, Suby Sports is right off of Nevada near Fillmore in the area near that dog track there. They are a performance shop specializing in Subaru. Check the Rocky Mountain forum, that's usually where the meets are organized. THere hasn't been one in a while. Maybe we should start one? :)

what is your opinion of suby sports?
i have sent them a couple of emails, and no answer back, so my opionion is not that high. it could be easily changed however if i would deal with them face to face. do they carry any gauges? i am in the market for a couple more, i have the stock gauge pod, but want a egt or a/f and possibly oil press.
i know that area, my office is right there. i will check the forums to see when the next on is, if there is one. my schedule is kinda hectic, so i don't want to plan one and not show up, but if there is one planned and i can make it i sure would try
thanks for the info

Fishkill/Stormville/Beekman area, about 10mins from Rt. 9 down by Walmart, 20mins from IBM. If ya know where the Stormville flea market is, that's where I am.

malelee21, the installation took about 3 hours and I had help from a couple of friends. You will need a spring compressor (you can rent from any auto parts store), and some good 1/2" ratchet tools.
cnstman, I think Braden (Suby Sports) was at SEMA the past week or so, so that may be why he hasn't contacted you. Give them a call (you can search for their number on qwest.com). Braden is a super nice guy.

I'd love to beat on an RSX-S... due to the fact that Heart Acura and I are NOT on good terms
Long story short, they sold a '00 Integra out from underneath me. No matter, I got my Scooby and I'm much happier :D It's stock for now(except for the moneyless mods), don't got money, poor high school senior
You hit Rt.9 on Fri/Sat nights around Dunkin' Donuts? I really haven't I've heard too much trouble.
Let me know if ya want to beat on an RSX-S on one Saturday or something... Heart loves me :alien:
