Front Top Grill 2003 Subaru Impreza

HEY! I have bene trying to find this grill forever now! It is the top grill for the front of the bug eyed impreza. Does anyone know which one it is and where I can find/ buy it? Please help me out!

I think someone posted about this about a week ago. I don't remember what it was, but I remeber someone saying that it is from Japan (duh) and is very hard to find. search this forum for the post titled something like "grill with the biggest opening" it had a pic of this grill and I believe someone posted a web site. hope this helps.

I was one of the respondents of that "grill with the biggest opening" thread, and posted a J-Speed "super front grille", in which the opening extends all the way to the side pieces. That J-speed grille is probably much harder to find than the STi Genome grille shown by bambams247. There are replicas available in northern america for that particular grille, as well as other STi Genome grille versions.
Iirc, primitive racing as well as a southert california subaru dealer (forgot the name) has them. For the original, you may be able to get it through [url]www.japanparts.com[/url]

yeah now.. lemme see...
we've had these for a while...
cant use them w/morettes...
so that leads me to think it's more of what they're talking about here...
where it replaces the grill as well as the grill side pieces...??

Yes, they could, but the link you attached in your post is for yet another STi Genome grille; iirc, there are 3 STi Genome grille types. That particular one you linked to is the more readily available in northern america. There are many eBay replicas as well. I'm not sure whether or not the badge for that particular grille fits the other Genome grille that bambams247 posted.

Hey, when I click the link to see the grill w/ the morettes, I get a not found problem....
Is there somwhere else I can see the pic? I was originally thinking of putting Morettes together with a Lester grill, but someone made a comment that it made the car look like it had a "runny nose" (it might even have been you, Subie Gal), and now I can't get that out of my head when I look at it....
ergo, I'm still on the hunt for a good looking aggressive grill to go with half-n-half painted morettes
bottom line -- hey, where the cream filli---er picture? Can I see it? Pleeeese?
