GDA 2.5RS Owners...we now have Indiglo gauges to match our panels!

As posted in a previous thread, go to www.speedhut.com. Search for the WRX gauges, and if you notice (like all WRX Gauges) they are different from ours. (speedo and redline). I e-mailed them and they said they could do 2.5RS gauges for the same price as the WRX ones.
With as many options as there are, I think its a pretty cool idea, becuase not all of us want to have gauges that are off, and a tach that has a redline 1000RPM too late.
If theres interest, let me know!

heh i never knew the gauges were different but for 80 bucks ehh i dont think its that great of a deal

Ya...put a set of WRX gauges in toyr car and you will think your going 140 when your really doin 120 :)
Plus, the redlines are different.
Thing is...look at all the options you can choose. Different background color, lighting, fonts, images... For custom gauges its not too bad!

I've already had Indiglo gauges, in my RS, for the past 2 years.

If it was a bit cheaper I would consider it. Also do they have the reverse indiglo?

Yup...
Just go to the Subaru Section, and pick out the WRX. You can customize gauges how you want them (color, design, reverse, normal.....EVERYTHING). Seriously...if there was something you DIDNT like about standard (or reverse) indiglo gauges....You can change that here!
Too bad they are pretty expensive...But I might consider them!

Where did you get those? No fading or anything like that?

Has anyone checked with them to see if they can do the 4EAT cutout between the gas and temp gauges?
Thanks,

I dunno about a cutout...but im sure its possible
They pretty much make these on a per-order basis (hense the reason they will make my gauges go to 120 instead of 140)...
Thats the cool thing about these!

Yeah slush boxes.
If you don't like the indicator on your dash, can I have it? It's the one thing I want off the newer Imprezas:D

yeng, any clue who the original manuf. of that gauge is?
I like it, has redline at the same as stock. Most ones I've been looking at have them at 7000.
But why is your temp so low???

I really like your gauge, guess I need to keep an eye out for it.
Cold night will explain the gauge, I was just wondering cause I heard of some people screwing up their gauges with the indiglo install. No worries.

See, thats the thing, you can find tons of Gauges for the old-school RS's (and OBS/Impreza) which have the correct redline, the New Age Impreza gauges are ALL for the WRX...
None for the RS/TS/OBS.

I bought them off E-bay. They ran me $15 dollars.....seriously. :) Cool thing is that they fit perfectly (no overlapping like in the other guy's pic) and they have 8 differenct colors and like 12 different brightness settings. The settings can be changed with a touchpad that can be mounted elsewhere. These are cool. :D

like STI V5/6 guage for GC8 has RPH in the middle like new age impreza, and with around 9000-10000RPH.......in fact the whole cluster has to be replace, and it is very expensive around US$620
becoz it is import from Japan so it is usually in KPH.....better news for Canadian!:D

Mine has KPH and red Redline lettering. You just can't see it because of the camera I used.
As for the fuse, all the electrical wiring came in a self contained box. All I had to do was tap into a positive lead and ground for the parking lamps. So they turn on, and off, with my parking lights and when I activate or deactivate my alarm.
Come on....you know you're just jealous that I got a better deal than you. :D :p
