Help me choose rim color

hey im stuck on my rim color. should i paint it gold, black, leave them silver, or graphite

im also going to get some clear corners, side markers and black out the blinkers in the black strip in the front bumper

the whole lip and just paint the spokes? or leave the ~1" vertical lip

If you can find a lighter color gray or silver that would look great. Maybe even white. If you're going to whiteout the corners, with a white car, the lighter look will be real clean. Black wheels are nice, but I feel they are just a trend right now. You may want to consider clearing out the front bumper blinkers, maybe even painting the black strip white. A white on silver car is hot.

I would say black, but I think you would need a lip with flat black. Graphite would also look pretty good.

+1 for black with silver/polished lip to bring out the rim design. the lip will also make the wheels look larger
IMHO, 100% black wheels look boring... and in dark lighting, cars with black wheels look like they floating without wheels. i suppose they are ideal if u want the stealth look and easy maintenance

black wheels look good on white cars, with a polished lip even better. But i voted for gold.

I would definetley go with the '98 RS gold, its a little darker than the gold they put on the STI's now. But it looks better on the wheels that you have on your car. Although, I really think that painting your wheels yourself is a generally bad idea (that is, if you are spray painting). If you really want to get a high quality job and you have the money to spend, then powdercoat your wheels. If you paint them yourself, then you risk missing spots and not doing a thorough job, and the paint will chip.
