Help me locate parts to recreate "Jun Lemon"

Im on a quest to re-create the Jun WRX....only in black. :)
I know I can get the jun replica bumper, but am having trouble finding something like the extra front lip, and the rear bumper with air diffusers. Ill have to go with something different for the wing though as theirs cant be opened conventionally. It has trunk pins.
Anyway, here are the pics.... hope this helps. Any info would be great. :)

youre going to need to get custom fender flares done cause those wheels are 10 inches wide. cant fit that on a conventional wrx.
my advice...make a wingless version of it. will look MUCH better for a street car...especially considering youre not near the power levels of that car and unless you have 100k youre not going to replicate that motor.
we should hang out some time this thanksgiving. ill be down in the woodlands. :)

The fenders are not flared, but the wheels are tucked and the wheel wells are cut

yeah, Im thinking some 18X8's will do just fine and yeah, the wingless way would look good. I have the eyebrow thing working already. I just need that front lip extention and that rear diffuser.
Milin,
Come out to the sat. woodlands meet when your home....at the Walmart next to Montgomery college.

My suggestion...if you wanna recreate it, email JUN and see if they can help you out. Basically if they are nice enough, they'll give you some facts straight up :D

Don't forget the side visors. I think they look very nice and subtle. Among a few other places, you can get them here.

that car is tough. so mean and agressive. the gt wing is ok but just not so high and im not too sure in the lip and rear diffuser. well, the diffuseer is a nice touch, no one does that but the lip, maybe if it wasnt so big. in the end, you will have a pretty nice street car.
| jarelee | 11-14-2003 12:38 AM |
OT: Do the windows hit the side visors? Or does it barely clear it? Anyone?
| 02R6 | 11-14-2003 01:21 AM |
The windows do not hit. I have the side visors on my car and they clear fine. They're an OEM piece, so I couldn't imagine anyone having problems with their windows hitting.

If you get the Advan RG's unless you go with a wider wheel w/ reaalllly low offset the spokes won't curve in towards the center like the ones above (look for other pictures of WRX's with RG's on this site to see what I mean). They also use a different hub w/ 114.3x5 pattern I think from an SVX?
You'd probably have to have the front lip and rear bumper custom fabricated

Yea, i was just gonna say im pretty sure that the front lips and canards are custom made for that bumper.

I've loved this car ever since it graced the cover of my Super Street. However you are missing something... The Mirrors! I love those side mirrors but have searched forever and made a few threads on here and nobody has been able to tell me where to get them. Also, how sweet is the intercooler on there! It's called a V-mount (see this months super street) very nice!
| BurtonCR | 11-15-2003 03:15 AM |
I bet they are using the Advan RG GTR - very low offsets and curving spokes, and they only come in 5x114.3 (maybe the reason for the different hubs).

yeah, they are using the gtr series...which is 18x9.5 and they came in +22 and +12 offsets

i dunno but imho, that car is hideous o_O

if you want the look of that car
heres my opinion
JUN front bumper. foglight covers. eyelids.
18 inch advan rg just get em in 8.0 inch width and gold of course.
and get an STi S202 carbon fiber wing
blitz exhaust
and get a front mount
that will give you the "look" of the car without spending 100,000 dollars! :o

what about the mirrors!?!?!?!?
| OneArmedScissor | 11-16-2003 03:04 PM |
try and locate a replica set of the WRC mirrors. Goodfinder on NASIOC has a set...but you want the same style but without the rally lights built into them.
the little dog eared mirrors right?
when i go to japan ill see if i can find anything of that nature and ill tell you about my findings!

i think that front lip and rear diffuser is one off ... just for their track car. they have other JUN wrx/sti's .
i am thinking about going that route. but i just cant drive that car with those bumpers. the roads arent quite as smooth as the track LOL
Are you going to get that brake setup also?
