If you could go to one WRC event which one would it be?

Yeah so if you had to pick one WRC event to attend which one would it be and why?
Also would you rather go to rally school like team o' neil or go to a wrc event?

done a few now, they all have diferent character. The thing i like about WRC events is you get to take in the country as well as the sport if you make an effort.
So far done
Rally GB (about 1000 times  )
Monte Carlo twice
Catalunya twice
Finland once
Acropolis once
Cyprus once
I would like to see Argentina (bit dodgy for a brit :o), New Zealand, Australia and Sweden
I would rather drive in them too, and i usually do in a hire car.

I'd groove on just about any of them.
I was going to hit Corona Rally, Mexico this year, but I was misinformed on how far south it was. :(
Looks like I'll have to wait until next year.
I would LIKE to hit
Australia
New Zealand
Safari, but it's no longer run. :(
Monte Carlo
and of course the season finale...
Great Britain

I'm a lazy American... I'd rather watch on TV so I could see a lot more of the action then the single corner I'm on. :(
Honestly, though, I think if I had to pick one, it'd be Corsica since I'm a tarmac lover. :D

either Finland or Sweeden, which ever is the winter one.
grap on my WRC geographical and sced knowledge.
I would relish seeing the country side and the ppl as much as the race.

Catalunya. I definitely want to see one of these classic tarmac rallies before the FIA kills them off, and it looks to be the most interesting.
Germany, would be cool too.
Finland, just cause its a classic.
Arg, I should probably stop now before I list them all. :)

That'd be Sweden. Finland is generally in the summer and usually consists of fast, long jumps.

Yeah the whole Falken Islands debacle probably doesn't go over well w/the natives.
I want to go see:
Finland
NZ
AU
Corsica
Rally GB
before I die.
I'm thinking I might go over for the BRC Pirelli International Rally in April and hopefully share a few pints w/Mr. Felstead. :D

New Zealand is the top of my list. Then Finland. One day I'll make the run over to Perth as well.

Tim's school. Participating is always more fun than watching!
Now, Tim's school or a Gr.N co-drive at WRC Sweden? Now we're talking tough decisions.

ty nKoan. Sweden it is. Second choice is definately the uber fast gravel of Finland.

I think that I would want to go to Cyprus, because then I could watch rally, party, rally, party, etc. Maybe catch a couple hours of sleep in there too, if my schedule allowed it :) .
I also would want to go to Rally GB, because I have always wanted to go to GB to see the sights.

Corsica, of course!

Rallye de Corse is the coolest.
coolest roads, unimaginably tight yet fast as s**t. At corsica, you see WRC pilotes at their absolute bravest.
coolest countryside, arid climate little rain, awesome roaside little bars
incredible secret clothing-optional beaches
what else? Go there yourself and find out!
Cheers

Rally choices...

We stayed in Monte Carlo for our honeymoon last month,...and I would love to go to the rally there,.however,.we also drove the coast and drove up to San Remo,...and yes the women are hot but the roads are like one big E-brake exercise,..hairpin after hairpin,........the pizza ni SanRemo is unimaginable,....
So,...SanRemo,..October weather in the French Riviera is killer,.the water is very warm, and yes the scenery:devil: is 100% top notch,...SouthBeach aint got nothin' on SanRemo during the rally stages,..alot of people come that region during the rally !!
SanRemo wins !!

New Zealand, Spain, or Finland would be cool.
If not one of those, than one of the others. I just think it would be awesome to see all of the WRC cars driving (or flying if in Finland) past you for a split second. Probably a big difference between watching an Sti while working cones at a local autox and watching Petter drive past at 'maximum attack' in 6th gear!

For some reason, the new Germany rally has become my favorite to watch. I love the character of the military area, but it's something more than just that.
I don't know that that would be my pick to go to though. Probably Corsica.

I went to the Rally GB last year. Its probably the easiest and cheapest rally to see for a US guy. Renting a car and driving isn;t so bad there, it is very spectaror oriented now, and everyone speaks English ! :D Lots of gravel, pretty high speed, can decide the championship!
I saw Petters first WRC win last year. I was at Margham park when he was jumping on the roof of his car... less than 50 feet away! It was awesome!
