Lap time improvement for 2005 STi ?

How much time can be saved on the track with the following changes to a stock 2005 STI ? JDM Sti pink springs, camber plates, cusco front and rear sway bar, cusco type II lower bar, cusco front strut tower bar, Toyo RA1 235/40 17 and Pagid blue pads.
Pick the road course and assume the driver ability at the pro level,
certainly not my ability, just for comparison sake.
I only know Putnam Park well but would like to know the potential lap time improvement so any road course comparison would be greatly helpful.
I have purchased the above items and want to know what items if any are not worth putting on since they provide no benefit to the lap time on the track. I bought what the salesman told me on faith. What accounts for the most lap time improvement and what accounts for the least?
I thought if one increases average cornering speed by 1 mph, lap time should decrease by 1 second, for an average 10 corner road course. With the changes can the average corner speed be increased by 5 mph or is that wishful thinking.
My best lap time at Putnam Park is 1:21.6 with my stock 2005 STI.
I haven't put anything on yet.

1) Take your stock laptime
2) Put on all parts
3) Drive
4) Take after laptime
5) Compare
6) ???????
7) Profit.

Depends on how long the track is and how many turns there are and how good of a driver you are as to whether or not you can take advantage of those parts

Fool! What kind of answer is that?! You obviously used Crower's Third Law of Motorsports, which fails to account for the additional sprung weight of the chassis braces. A more accurate modeling (namely, Fondeheim's Theorem) will account for those changes. Not only that, but I find Fondeheim's Theorem is way better at approximating the expected gains of a professional driver, whereas Crower's 3LoM is predicated on the driver having a skill level equivalent to Brian Boitano. IS300 specifically asked us to consider a pro driver, so Fondeheim's is the only way to go.
With all that said, I think the lap times would drop to around 1:03.8 at Putnam Park - not quite an 18sec improvement.

While this question is very familiar to me ( lol)...I think you are on the right track( no pun ) with the mods, but beyong that, you just have to drive. You cant speculate on these things. You can calculate these things. DRIVE the car. Just DRIVE THE CAR. Make those changes, and JUST DRIVE THE CAR !!
You can calculate all day long. You can e-mail Senna and ask him, and he will tell you to drive as much as you can. The lap time will come. Asking other people about a hypothetical lap time is crazy ( no offense). I would think you would know by now how to go fast and whats involved in becoming a better driver.
Part do help, but its a driver thing beyond that.
When I got my Porsche, I added brake ducting, fluid and pads. Turned the shocks up and did 6 track events in 3 weeks. Telling you how much my lap time dropped wont mean anything. I improved ALOT. Then 6 seconds later I ran into a lap time "wall". It took my first race in the rain to break thru that wall, and by 1.5 seconds. But here again, those times mean nothing.
Keep driving. Add the parts, as the STi could use those improvements.

Started braking at the crest in 8... kinda slid out that way naturally after realzing that trying to brake (even in a straight line) while the car is unloaded doesn't quite work well. It took me until the last session to get the 8-9 combo down (wasn't finishing the turn at 8 onto more flat sruface before braking).
Add on no ABS... and the car kinda did what it wanted in that turn.. and it was frustrating. Now if you'd excuse me, I have a death to make plans for.

- Just look at that picture! The road is sloped, there are walls. KC was scared to death!
- As for Patrick Olsen... Don't listen to him. I definitely wouldn't get into, let alone drive, a car he prepped for the track! ;)
- Seriously though, the tires will definitely help with lap time. And then with the higher speed that results from the tires, brake pads will help. The rest will have affect, but to lessor degrees. Camber plate will let you run more negative camber, but actual benefit will depend on the actual setting and type of track. Sway bars may help, or may hurt. Tower bars will have minimal effect.

See, you should have asked ButtDyno in the first place... he could have told you the exact hp increase to the third decimal place as well as your new skid pad results because he is afterall the buttdyno, but he told you much much better advice.

It's true.
I estimate the mods will make your car so fast around a track that you will rip a hole in the space-time continuum and turn in a NEGATIVE lap time whereby you finish before you started.
But I am known for being wildly inaccurate.

My original question was bad.
I was really hoping that some STI track junkies had made a baseline comparison, recording a stock STI average lap time as a basis for comparison in later tests. Then changing suspension components one at a time and measuring the change in lap time.
Certainly the STI junkie will have to be able to lap consistently within a few tenths of a second for this to be helpful.
Not all changes from stock would necessarily be beneficial to reducing lap time. I was wanting to save some testing and see the lap time improvement potential with proper suspension component selection.
I better sign up for alot more lapping days in 2006.

Though this is in regards to Whiteline products, they have several articles in this link that document lap time improvements when installing various suspension components. Perhaps it can give you a rough idea of what can be achieved:
