Looking for Rear Tail Lights

I want to replace my rear tail lights (WRX) with something that has the new styling like on the new altima and IS300. I want the best quality for fit and finish. What brand and style do people recommend and where can I buy them from.

I thought this was an open forum. What am I a child. There has to be some tail lights out there that look a little more flashy without being obnoxiuos.

i think the apc lights look the best, but u can get a general idea of whats out there by going to asylumms.com although i wouldnt recommend ordering from them, also check out vividracing.com, and nopi.com, but i think the apcs (apc4.com) r teh ones ull like the most

I think they're just busting your chops. The "chrome look" tail lights are out there, but I don't know where. I know they're being sold because I accidentally came across some on the internet doing a search for something else. Personally, I think they make a car look cheap because so many kids use them on their Hondas and other street *cough* racers *cough*. It's the same as big wings, non-painted CF hoods and such, psuedo-HID blue headlamps, etc. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Good luck on your search.

Interesting look. Do you have any other camera angles? I'm still partial to keeping stock tail lamps but I have to admit that those don't look bad at all (only for people that feel the need to change of course). ;)

Thank you all for your responses. This is exactly what I am looking for. I want that new plastic look that is very shiney. The factory units are very blaa and dull looking. All the new cars are using the new shiney plastic. It looks very clean. I want to make sure the the quality of these are as good as factory. I have seen some units that are very cheap looking and the edges are glued and dull. Looking for the best quality.

i dont mean to argue with banky...theose look fine, but i am wondering why everyone always says..all altezzas suck, all cars with altezzas are rice...except those?....and why is a rex with those not rice?....i am not saying that is my opinion, just seems to be the conformist opinion....all tail lights suck and are rice, but those are okay.,....

I was one of the FIRST people to post my car with the altezza Jaguar lights on it. It was great, because people actually didn't flame me like I was expecting. Now, a lot of people have them, and I feel that they are not ricy at all. I get a lot of compliments on them actually!!! :D

i have the black chrome altezzas on my silver rex, and i think they look good... ive gotten many compliments on them as being both sporty & elegant...
you ugys can have your opinions and call them ugly, thats fine...
but dont go runnin your mouths callin em rice...
RICE is not something you think is ugly, RICE is an aftermarket part that 'says' your fast, but doesnt do anything...
just like those big aluminum wings on civics and other cars that dont need em...
and carbon fiber mirrors and stupid carbon fiber parts like that...

More power to you. Like I said... different strokes for different folks. By the way, I think the only person calling anything "rice" was ATX25RS, but his post wasn't derogatory in any way. He was just asking a question.

The reason I think some people call most aftermarket lights "rice" is because they're usually on cars that have "big aluminum wings, carbon fiber mirrors, and stupid carbon fiber parts". That's where the correlation happens and how I (personally) make the connection between the two. This is the first time I saw those Jag lights and I think they're kinda neat to be honest. As time goes by I hope we'll see an increase in the quality of aftermarket lights...... I'm still happy with my "factories" though. ;)

Ah black chrome altezzas do look very good especially if combined with those black chrome sti projectors in the front, i think everyone needs to acknowledge that altezza does not JUST mean the chromed ones, and should adjust their flamethrowers as such

yea, in addition to the APC altezzas, the Jagaur altezzas, black chrome altezzas, and chrome bling-bling altezzas, there are other aftermarket taillights...

morrette makes one, that also doesnt seem that bad to me... as you can paint match it to your car, it ALMOST looks like skyline lights, which is good, but not close enough for me...

ive always dreamed of a skyline taillight conversion:p

If you must change your tailights then DON'T go with APC's!! Aside from being insanely ugly, APC is the worst quality crap on the market today. If you want three inch puddles in your lights, go ahead and get them. You can throw a goldfish in there and call it custom. I was told by a toucan rep that there was a jaguar style in development for the sedan which is the same as the ones posted here. I will only go with toucan because ALL of there lights are D.O.T. approved whereas NONE of APC's are. In my experience Toucans have been excellent. Some company named Hiper also makes the jaguars but I have no clue to their quality...I say their ad in Sport Compact Car magazine which is awesome by the way...Have fun!:D
