I've got a monster ms hood on my '02 bugeye and the fitment is great... better than stock almost.

I don't know, but I love how the vents on the hood match the 2 mesh side grilles up front. They're pretty subtle, too... not so in-your-face like most vented hoods.

Reason for the smaller scoop was due to the new frontend allowing more air to reach the IC. I'm guessing this hood messes that up and they needed to use the larger scoop or they thought people like the larger scoop.
