people dont like gold rims

I happen to love gold rims on any color subaru. They just seem to go with the flow, hold on to the heritage of the rally inspiration. I know that a lot of other subaru owners feel the same way. But it seems as though most other people dont like them, they think there gauty. I just dont get it, has anyone else noticed this.

Yeah to each there own, some people think Honda's are the fastest cars on earth, some think nothing beats American muscle and there are some who think AWD is invincible. I say if they don't like it tough luck because you do and thats all that matters.

I am not crazy about the gold, and most people I know who are not scooby people aren't all that crazy about them either. Looks bling bling in many people's eyes, esp if they don't realize why they are on the car.

To me, looks good on JBP, WRB, and SRR. But not white or silver. But it can't be the bling-bling shiney gold, has to be a flat gold, like the Prodrives or BBS on the STi. Just my $0.02
For the record, I have the gold STi BBS's on my WRB WRX (acronym overload! :lol: )

Gold rims are unique. When in a parking lot all you see is row after row of silver rims. boring...

i really like the version jdm sti wheels on the bug eye model (version 8 i believe). I was seriously thinking about getting those on my car. I also saw the new Konig Hurry wheels. Those are black, and i dont think they look bad either. I tend to stay away from Konigs, but these are different. I don't like gold rims on any car, Subaru or not. :p Reminds me of an '85 Coupe de Ville pimp ride or something. :lol: Of course, I have black wheels with a polished lip on my car which many people don't like. So each to their own.

I think gold and bronze wheels are more of a JDM style look that a lot of americans don't really understand or just don't have the taste that likes it. Kinda the same way I feel about gigantic boats on wheels like a Buick or Cadillac, while many many people in the USA love those....

I had gold on my black impreza L. I wanted a white RS so I could put my gold wheels on there, but I ended up getting silver. I'm halfway tempted to paint my stocker's gold. I saw a silver coupe w/ gold stockers and ti looked really nice.

I think gold wheels look sweet on JBP and WRB Imprezas. I don't particularly like gold on silver but it's not bad. Gold wheels really sets off JBP.....

Alizarin who makes those wheels? Besides style i keep an eye out for wheels that would be eaiser to clean. Those look nice and seem straight forward in the keeping clean department.
