Pink "I" Badge... What reactions can I expect?
I've already got the:
"Dude... It's... Pink..."
"Isn't that kinda gay?"
I've tried to explain the STi thing.

I wouldn't worry about it, they'll never understand. Just shrug it off and tell them "it's cool to me. 'nuff said."
I got the "why is it pink?" as well. Told them 'pink' is for people who are secure about their maturity and don't worry about **** like that.

I flat out tell people "Subaru is DIFFERENT." Subaru gets laughed at because they are different, but Subaru laughs at Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, etc. because they are all the SAME.

Gagan, I like like the pink badge. I got one on my car. It looks good with the Rally Blue. Can't wait to see yours. Yeah, it's different but that goes along with owning a subie. Just say, "It's not pink, it's cherry blossom red." ;)

i have had my pink "i" for over a year now, and i have yet to get a comment on the color. The comments i usualy get are abuot the "i" and why is it not the normal "star" logo

Got tons and tons of comments about how it was PINK, how I was gay, how I flamming homo for having a PINK badge. Eventually it fell off :( (it was my very first part I bought) decieded to save my self some headaches and just bought a stock one to replace it :D

i have gotten Zero-crap for mine. i really dont think people even notice that it is pink, i think they ASSume that it is red cause they dont have a clue,,, either that or i need to wash my car:D

? - I got a black i emblem off ebay and it was smaller than the origanal star emblem. I think it is a JDM emblem. It actually came with two one was too big and one smaller. It looks ok on my car - smaller one- but does anyone know why the size differences?

I don't have a Pink I, but I have purple windshield washer lights, purple neon above the stereo, purple dome light, and purple license plate lights, and my one friend is always eggin me saying how it's gay and I'm gay for wanting them. I think it looks nice with the dark green paint. Then make fun of him for driving an '84 Pontiac Pheonix and say I could pick up a chick a lot faster with all the lights on than he could in his car. Actually today his girlfriend told me she liked my car and thought the neon was cool. :lol:

I have the "cherry blossom red" stars on my car.
The only one who has commented so far was my wife. I tried to explain it to her but no dice.
Bottom line, its my car, I like it, I know what it means.

When I had one on my GC8, I got alot of comments like, "What the hell kind of car is that?", and " I've never seen anything like that before!"
It's cool really, people get confused, and don't know what you drive. And for me thats cool, because I like messing with peoples heads.

i try to explain how it's CHERRY pink, and the STi thing....even lookin up pictures of STiZ and 22bs to show them people it came stock with some imprezas...but the feedback is unrelenting!
so I painted it blue, and it shut everyone up. haha. =P
just paint it, this way the appreciation for your beautiful "i" emblem won't be limited to scooby enthusiasts. ;)

Ya, everybody is gonna think you are gay, for having it on your car, I had it on my WRX, and got nothing but gay comments.
Everybody at work laughs and makes fun of it, I dont have it anymore beacause of a new bumper. But I think it was cool.
But alot of people did stare at it???

I understand were you are comeing from...it's a Sti thing... Most people don't know about it unless they look up about subaru.. If they talk about the color of it don't worry about it..
