racer's mental agility test part 1

racer's mental agility test
Just wondering what everone on here can do. Th reason that I posted this in motorsports rather than OT or general is because I felt you would all get the biggest kick out of it.

If you can go longer than 22 seconds you are phenomenal. I was
told that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are
expected to go forat least 2minutes. Give it a try!!

The object of the game is to move the
red
block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.

From my obviously not-photochopped game, it seems I rule.

AtomicRacer 02-06-2006 10:48 AM

HAHA, just hacked the game and got 1031.2 seconds.

I have been playing with this for a few months and have gotten to about 45 sec. Started at about 18. You can learn it after a while.
makofoto 02-06-2006 11:36 AM

No wonder I'm such a slow driver. I guess I could save a lot of money and stop racing now, but at least driving AX is a lot more fun then that Test! :D
Achilles38WRX 02-06-2006 12:11 PM

41.738

my slow pc at work probably helps a lot
artkevin 02-06-2006 12:25 PM

I was in the 23s last week.
pezman04wrx 02-06-2006 12:38 PM

23.397 before moving on ...
bcblues 02-06-2006 01:48 PM

0.853 on my first attempt. Its a good thing I don't fly a fighter for a living. ;)

That's why I went straight to forging my results via MS-paint.
living4surf 02-06-2006 03:19 PM

32 seconds a few days ago
culturedetox 02-06-2006 07:12 PM

92 seconds... yay low speed computers at work :D
subaruwrx420 02-06-2006 07:38 PM

22.74 seconds...man it's tough.
bluesky99 02-06-2006 08:33 PM

+1 for low speed computers: I found that if I just moved the red square in circles, the other blocks freeze, but time still runs

However: my computer is not that slow: 750MHz Or at least it was not slow :p back in the day

So my time == not accurate
AlpineFD 02-06-2006 09:56 PM

31 seconds haha, how does this test the mental agility exactly??
marc360 02-06-2006 11:52 PM

I've been playing this game straight for 48 hours. I have to pee and I'm very very hungry. I'm playing it right now in a minimized window and typing with my left hand... Oh, just pissed myself. Oh well.
Sean 02-07-2006 02:28 AM

70 seconds. Yay. Stupid touchpad.

Thumper23 02-08-2006 01:19 AM

this has been posted in teh OT atleast 3 times in the last month

and if you believe this is how the AF picks fighter pilots, ah hell, I won't sugar coat it, you're a moron
haa-yup! 02-08-2006 01:43 AM

^^I thought they just drew names out of a hat :p

You do have to take a mental agility/hand-eye coordination test, but its nothing like this
wil69 02-08-2006 02:14 AM

thats pretty fun
TurboRX 02-08-2006 02:29 AM

they use this test with calculus problems and SAT questions on the right side of the screen, and must sculpt a perfect double helix from damp sand at the same time.

Thats why fighter pilots are so cool.

EDIT: oh yeah, I got 23 seconds, guess thats why Im just a loadmaster...
