They look very nice and for $189+shipping.I said get them.

Personally, I would only put them on if I had a black car... And even then I would reconsider, as they would probably be stolen in a couple days here in L.A. :p

^^^^
lol that is sooooo true... you can just pull them off as you run hahahaha......
evo8eater 09-27-2004 08:18 AM

well they told me that they have a removal tool, and if you don't use it they are really hard to take off and you WILL break them trying. I'm going to go ahead and buy them...I'll post pics and review once I get them in.
jojor512 09-27-2004 08:54 AM

those look sick, are there any like that for 02s?
Fusionpnoy 09-27-2004 12:25 PM

This was talked about already. If you call them and mention NASIOC they will sell them for $150. Do a search, long thread about it.
skoooooby 09-27-2004 03:08 PM

I bought a set of those a couple weeks ago and they are badass! They fit perfect and look awesome! And they say that they'll sell them for $150.00 for Nasioc members. I highly recommend.
Fijimunkii 09-27-2004 04:11 PM

Hot damn, I think I'll order a pair.
engineerx 09-27-2004 04:20 PM

Those are very NICE ! I was thinking about buying them the OEM are $120 so for $30 you get CF bling bling....

I got my brake rotors glowing red the other day at Streets of Willow so I decided to do a little mod instead : Brake ducts using the fog light bezels ($32 each) - still work in progress .. the hard part will be routing the hose (not much room on passenger side) and cutting the rotor shields to bolt the spindle duct.

Brake hose, spindle ducts, brake ducts from here

I got 3" ducting ....
# ALL 42116 & 42117 Spindle ducts $25 each
# RAP 3DUCT 3"x10" ducting $42.95
# ALL 42141 brake duct offset single $18 each
Shipping $13

in retrospect I think 2.5" would be easier to fit through and route -
the foglight covers I got from http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/products.html
But I no longer see them there - the Invoice says it was shipped from Tacoma Nissan Subaru 800-972-69-15 got them fro $32.19 each
Part # 57731FE410WG & 57731FE420WG (W for WHITE) >>> make sure you get the right color

Still working on install, I'll post the MOD here or @ ScoobyMods
I'll need to cut the brake shields, route the duct, etc ... Search for mod in a month or so !

engineerx very nice mod.
engineerx 09-28-2004 12:01 AM

Some pics of finished ducts & bezels
I used CA glue to hold ducts in place then Shoe Goo to glue better (works really great!!) I'll use a grille-type screen (small mesh) to keep debris out and improve appearance :)

Where would you mount the exit of the tubing???
engineerx 09-28-2004 02:29 PM
Where would you mount the exit of the tubing???
I'l route the tube from the duct in the bumper as follows:
I'll post the full mod when finished - just gotta find the time to do it - I gotta install the TEIN RA's sitting in my living room :)

Those CF covers would look hot as hell on a black subaru.
evo8eater 09-28-2004 10:07 PM

I saw a group buy going on - if any one else is interested maybe they can get them cheaper - check the group buy section

Man - those look sweet

BUT
I would much rather get some good ADVAN or RAYS lightweight wheels
AND
They only add CF bling bling - they're not light - 18.5 lbs for 17"s

Basshead 10-02-2004 03:01 AM

design of them looks like crap, but the cf covering them gets a thumbs up...
SLIGHTLY 10-02-2004 03:45 AM

Actually the 01 designs sti fog covers are solid CF molded replicas IIRC
