STi / WRX Carpet Swap *PICS*

so i swapped my gray carpet with C43's blue one yesterday. heres the pics

so after that i also popped in the interior cabin air filter b/c my car didnt come with one. I saw a leaf fly out of my vents once, so decided to get one. lol. :D

the STi has the stock seats but the covers have been removed. They are replaced with professionally-done leather upholstery.

Chris is the man. Good job with posting pics of my Dirty car. The rug looks great in your car. I love the grey in my STI it matches my seats. Chris I am calling the Leather guy Monday. He is not leather, he did my seats.:lol: I'll give them to you for nothing as payment for the swap. Thanks man. Post all 3000 pics.

I swapped in the blue carpet a couple months ago. It just looks soooooo much better. You should get the blue carpet mats with the sti logo on them. They match very well.

i looked into blue mats, but to me it would be a sea of blue on the floor. i like the black mats and how they offset the blue and compliment the seats and dash..

also, i have heated seats on my wrx which the STi seats do not come with. As for the back seats, never bothered to look in the back of the STi when the driver seat is so much more fun

I left a message for him today. I'll PM you when I hear. I met a guy today at my store that does custom heaters in seats. He also does everything else to interiors also. After the Xmas season I will check out his shop. I want a custom leather headliner now.

They are the same shapes, but the STi seats have different fabrics and are also a lot firmer. I know because I had an '04 wrx and swapped sti seats into it. The difference was definitely noticable. My '05 sti seats are very stiff as well...much stiffer than wrx seats I've sat in.

^^^ that thing is a fold-down double cup holder perfect for holding gatorade bottles. since the stupid japanese cup holders only fit soda cans and water bottles, its very useful. i took it out of my '95 VW passat when i sold it. lol.

i got a comment for you: you car is freakin amazing!!! i love the Defi gauges, the sound of it is mean, the leather matches the rest of the interior almost like you'd never know it was custom, and who can get bored of 361whp?!?! Once you get the new rims and the new hood, skirts, and rear spats i gotta see pics! :D
