As I have said before - people on street tires have no idea what body roll is.
| Thumper23 | 11-08-2005 01:08 AM |

It was after the first restart, took them 1.5 laps to go through the madness 1-2-3. You were standing right next to me, and you were sober. <shakes head>

Those poor suby's, get them some camber!
| jmott | 11-08-2005 04:24 PM |
and some roll stiffness
| turboICE | 11-08-2005 04:44 PM |
2* is the class maximum camber permitted under Touring rules, which is hell on tires that specify they shouldn't be used with less than 2.5* and preferrably 3+*.
| trhoppe | 11-08-2005 04:52 PM |
Thats why the 710s and/or Kooks Z214s are faster ;) Guess someone hasn't figured that out yet
Anyways, I've already lobbied for camber bolts and/or swaybars and/or STi pinks. All got rejected. We can't even get -2.0 degrees, we max out at -1.7 or -1.8 or so. The factory team is running -1.8.

Surprised the factory team hasn't OTS blueprinted their suspensions then.
Or maybe they did and that was the best they could get.

How can you "blueprint" the suspension?

Keep taking parts off the shelf until they result in the best specs you can get.
Same way the $5,000 spec miata engines are "blueprinted".
For instance keep trying LCA, knuckles, etc. until they are able to adjust to 2* negative camber while still completely OEM and unmodified.
