grill looks like prova, and to the best of my knowledge they did make a c/f hood for circut use only, although I'm not too sure if its available to the public.. :D

yupyup, thats a prova hood. pics are from tokyo auto salon 2002. accurit could probably get it for you since he can get prova stuff, but he's going to japan on the 31st and wont be taking new orders until he gets back. i was going to ask him to see if he can get the cusco hood with the side vents while he was over there (to save on shipping costs) but i dont think he'll be willing to try to carry a big ass hood back onto the plane home :lol:. he'd also probably get some weird looks from them fine japanese women :p

yup, it reminded me of the gigantor cusco scoop piece at first too. but if you look at it, its just weirdly designed side vents and an equally weird looking hood scoop that are completely independent of eachother. must function great though, since prova stuff is pretty much race proven...

yup, it reminded me of the gigantor cusco scoop piece at first too. but if you look at it, its just weirdly designed side vents and an equally weird looking hood scoop that are completely independent of eachother. must function great though, since prova stuff is pretty much race proven...

i order my Prova side skirts for my GC once its painted and put on i ll take soempics and drop it in the members section....

it was custom made for the auto salon show....
so that oen u see there is the ONLY one they have....if they sell more they have to get it made...not by a mold but by hand....
and the price is...(puttin on helmet)

Hmmm, I love that hood! I wonder if we could order one and then get a mold made here in the states? If we can get enough ppl to offset the price of the mold would this be feasible? And if so what kind of numbers are we talking about? I'd be willing to pay about 1k for fiberglass if it was of quality craftmanship and materials or about 1.5K if it was carbon fiber. But 3K+ and shipping is a bit much :(
