what to hold the carpet up with when you remove the spare?
Took my spare out...now everything i put in the trunk crushes my trunk liner down and .....you get my drift. Has anybody found an easy solution to this problem?
MannyMohawk#5 05-11-2006 10:02 PM

do you still have the wood support board in there?
waktasz 05-11-2006 10:16 PM

Yes but it still bends super easily when there is a suitcase or hooker in the trunk.

have a midget stand under the peice of wood to hold it up if theres a suitcase or something similar like a hooker on top of it :D

get some plywood, or flakeboard and trace the stock cardbourd crap onto the wood, then cut it out and wahlaa thro it in and put carpet right back over it.

mdf board, trace the carpet, get some hindges, trace the carpet on the mdf board, cut it out, cut a line that will help you get the spare in/out, hindge it up, velco the carpet on the mdf board, and stop posting flame welcoming threads..
