Which color emblem?

Ok, so I decided I have to have an STi "I" emblem on my front grill. My question is what color should I get. My car is a 2000 2.5RS Coupe in BRP. I was thinking about getting the classic pink color, but apparently they come in blue and black as well. Perhaps that might look better with the color of my car. Just wanting to know what everyone thinks might look good.
Micah
Edit: Pics of GC8's with an "I" emblem also welcome.

how about...
buy the "I" badge...
sand off the color off the back
and use your touch up paint to make it
match the color of your car? ;) :D

Oh yeah, and I forgot to ask about installation! I've heard you basically just heat it up with a hairdryer, pry it off, and the new one should go on smooth? That's it? It just seems like something that won't pry off simply by heating it up. How long does it generally take to get hot enough with a hairdryer if that is the case? Thanks all!

yea u got it right, it takes like 2min, its stuck on there by double sided tape, so you're just heating up the glue, and the new one will also come w/ double side tape you just stick it right in there and you're done

I'd like to see how the I logo looks on a 2000 model. It looks pretty swanky on the WRXs but the WRXs are more curvy than the 2000s (therefore the I might look a little out of place). I tried photoshopping a blue I emblem on my car and it looked a little weird to me but I'd love to replace the stock emblem with something else (NOT PINK!!!!)

gc "i" are a little diffrent from the 02's

in this thread i posted the two kinds of "I" badges that go with the 01 back and 02 up
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=463753
i bought the pink "I" and sanded/scraped off the pink and painted it BRP to match my car color...all around everything was easy to do...i found it was easier to scrape the paint off than sand it off

I want to put a black 'i' on my silver car, but I think a color-matched-blue one would look good on yours...

Yup, already saw it. It's where I got my idea for this post actually. Maybe I should just ask to see pics of GC8's with these emblems on them?

No pink will ever be on my car!

Two things:
First, I put on a red "stars" badge on the front of mt BRP a few years ago. I took it off within 48 hours because it looked like a big red clown nose.
Second, I don't care if STi likes it, pink is still a stupid color to put on a car. ;)

Well I picked the pink because it stands out more and is different. Not many cars have a pink badge on the front of their car.

Is 75mm x 45mm the right size for my '00??? Seems a bit big.

Nevermind. i found out.

The pink looks great. Especially on silverthorn and BRP. I love the pink on my foglight covers as well.
If you want to go nonpink on BRP, I would suggest Black or BRP. White or silver would be too contrasting.

heres a pic of my car...old body style, silverthorn, and pink STi badge. i love it!

i have seen yellow badges on a few BRP cars that looks very nice. it certianly contrasts but in a good way. i dont see anything wrong with the cherry blossom color for sti badges...if youre afraid to put some sti pink on your car either your car is too weak to back it up or youre too conservative to handle sti! :p

The Pink is in the mail!:D
