5 dollar grill and rear spat conversion with pics....

Well I picked up a used replica zerosports grill from a vendor on here for 5 bucks. It was cracked (which I fixed) and WRB, which I had to change.
Then a week later I came across some rear spats that a guy was selling. He said that he ordered them for his RS but instead he got ones for a WRX. Well when I got them they didnt fit my rear bumper as well. I finally figured out that they WERE indeed for a wrx...but not as rear spats but a split front lip. However, I already had a Kaminari lip and didnt want to ditch it for some " [i]TON[/i] " brand rubber lip thingy.
So I did what I could and added them to the bottom of the Kaminari. So far its been great. I dont scrap the good lip anymore and it adds a little more size to the overall front of the car although Im gonna get that back part a little more flush at the end.
Anyway, here are a few pics I just snapped.....not bad for a really cheap mod huh?

I just picked up the replica zerosports grille a few weeks ago myself. Painted out the door for for $100. Best looking grille for the bugeye IMO.
BTW... Those aren't spats. They look like the OEM rear lip sides (minus the center underspoiler). The spats go over the sideskirts ( in front of the rear tires). Interesting fit though.

I like the grill but the front lip(s) looks very out of place IMHO. But for 5 bucks, why not give 'em a try. :)

And just to voice the alternate opinion, I like the front lip rubber corner things, but think the grille looks really cheap. But your car, is your car and it's definetly different. :p

i think your car looks pretty sick man. i like the way the rear lip pieces looks on your front lip. they have a pretty decent fit and look pretty good too. nice easy mod bro.

Those front lips are for v1-v4 front bumpers! I just sold a pair to Jaxx. They look very good on the 'FRONT' of his car.

I have those same spats. Only mine are on the back of my RS, where they belong, LOL.

Yes, they're for the rear. They're meant to fit directly on to the JDM STi Version 6 rear bumper, but fit the North American 1998-2001 Impreza 2.5RS rear bumper with some slight modification. The 98-01 bumper is essentially a JDM STi Version 2 bumper.
[i]imprzya[/i] has it right, though his are a bit crooked.
Please take those off the front. I usually don't say this for the sake of politeness, but they look atrocious.
