Best dead pedal match for oem pedals?

Was curious what the best match was out there for our oem pedals- also fit/finish.
Thanks

Definitely the AutoSpeed one.

This is the one with the matching rubber pieces.

I second the autospeed. For $45, you can't go wrong. Perfect match :disco:

nope, the one at kastleskorner is a better match (note the order for the rubber nubs on the wrx pedals and deadpedal)
WRX Pedals = 2, 1, 2...
Kastlekorner deadpedal = 2, 1, 2...
Autospeed deadpedal= 1, 2, 1...

The advantage of the Autospeed deadpedal is that it uses the stock mounting plastic push screws. No need to double sided tape or anything, just pop off the push screws on the stock one, and pop them into the new one.
Edit: oops, looking at the other pic, Kastle's might be that way now too.
This is the Autospeed one.

The nubs on the kastle pedal look funky, I like the nubs on the autospeed better. But I see the point on the 1-2-1 vs. 2-1-2
| quest | 06-22-2004 03:02 AM |
yea, you can use the stock plastic screw things with the Kastle one...I just epoxied mine to the crappy plastic deadpedal so it looked better though.

I've had both dead pedals in may car. They both install using the stock plastic screw thingie. The Kastles Korner one doesn't have the rubber nubs. There is a piece of rubber that sits behind the holes. The cut and finish are perfect on both dead pedals. To me, it's the rubber nubs that make it feel more OE.

I made my own from sheet aluminum. I'm still looking for rubber plugs to put into the holes to make it match up better though. Excuse the dirt please.;)

I have this combo as well...deadpedal looks factory made- matches perfectly. The wrx shifter trim looks oem, as well- a little more involved to install to make it permanent than what they say, though. Had to take apart the shifter boot assembly and install with different allen bolts and nuts. Looks great and worth every penny, imo.

Good. That was the look I was going for. Michigan winters are a sonofagun to an interior.

read the thread...
Cliff Notes version: yes...the AutoSpeed one is the one with the rubber nubs. Joe has my Kastle Korner one (the one w/o the nubs) in his car...check it our the next time you see him.
Now take away that "sux0r" before you hurt my feelings.
