Best Glow Gauges?

I am intrested in replacing my stock gauges with some nice, classy glow gauges. I have seen a few different examples on ebay. Some I like but some disgust me. I just want the numbers and ticks to light up, I don't like that glowing halo too much but if theres no other option ill settle for it. I'm wondering if someone can suggest a brand of these kinds of gauges. I like Proautopart's gauges but I hear their inverters blow out easily. Someone help!

I got mine off ebay, from autobacs. Think it came around $30 total so it wasn't bad. One thing I don't like about them is that they have a glossy finish, it reflects if the sun catches it just right. It's all good though, for what I paid for them they are a nice touch. These are indiglo ones btw, not the reverse ones you are looking for. It was either these or the silver ones from proautoparts.

Thats the kind of thing im looking for (very nice by the way). Are those a little brighter? They seem a bit dim. Too bad I don't have a WRX though (i have a 2000 Impreza) or else I would look for something similar. What I am most intrested in is a nice white gauge face. I don't like my stock black ones at all. I want to stair into something nice and white (and non-glare if possible :))

Yeah - they are plenty bright at night for me anyways, but I guess my definition of bright could vary form yours :) They do look brighter IRL. I hope you find something that you'll like...

Hank3, which gauges are those....specificallywhere did you find gauges that both keep the KM/h inner circles as well as with the "WRX" and "Impreza" markings on them?

check [url]www.procarparts.com[/url] ....ask [email�protected] which ones he has they are nice...they are kinda simple but have a chrono look to themm.....

See now I'm also apprehensive about this because of those cuts at the bottom of the gauges. They look like there for displays that aren't there.

You need them for the CEL, oil, etc lights. Yeah, it would be nice if some made a completely white faced indiglo/reverse gauges for our cars but they don't.
The sliver reverse guages are on sale at procarparts now, maybe I'll pick up a set.

They work, pretty much everything interior can be exchanged between the GC8 and GF8.

got the same reverse indiglo gauges as hank. got mine from redline-something-or-other.com. they're plenty bright for me.

migs76, did you just get them, or have you had them for a while?Any chance of you remembering the actual name of where you got them?
I keep finding ones that are very close, but none w/the WRX AND the Impreza logo (or they are missing the kph ring)...
The ones at procarparts.com have "Impreza", but no "WRX", and while the euro-style ones are cool, they're just not me.

I felt kinda anal holding out for glow gauges w/the wrx AND the impreza logos instead of settling, but I figured for the amount I spend on my car, it's OK to be picky. I'm glad in this case it paid off.

Check those out. They have cool stuff as well. Since I want white backlight with red needles (to match my Defi BF gauges), I'm probably going to get the CF ones and the hyper red needle kit from Import intelligence. I do like how you can customize everything on speedhut :)
