Maybe is because i hate it but i see so many people do it and i just dont get it.....people with 04-05 that remove the pillar in the middle on the grill i think it looks ugly (IMPO) but whats does this accomplish? which subaru edition is like that? are you embarrassed of the SUBARU emblem? people do it for a cleaner look yet still have all their badges and stickers?

Doing that mod adds to the overall "clean" look of the car that so many of us want.. IMHO

I think the grill mod looks clean. It's kinda like how people debadge their trunks. It's not that they are ashamed of Subies they are just looking to get the smooth, clean look. But it's all a matter of opinion.

IMO it looks great... Big, uninterrupted opening on the front of the car to match the lower radiator opening and the hood scoop.

i think it looks nice and clean, plus for people that don't really know the car they get the confused :confused: look on their face. I was getting some wings a couple of weeks ago and 2 men in their 40's walked around my car 4 times saying what the hell is this car. It was priceless especially considering I was alone laughing by myself :D

I wanted something to do one saturday, and i like it, but i can see where people dont like the way it looks, but im all debadged, all over, and sometime getting rid of trunk lock, i just like the clean shaved look

If someone is determined to get to your hood latch, that plastic pillar certainly is not going to stop them. I've got a magnetic switch on my hood that'll set the alarm off as soon as the latch is released... And the Supertones are right in front of the latch. :devil:

I had broken my elbow and got bored, so i debadged the entire car one day, all the badges and the front grill, i think it looks sweet, just cant wait to get my hellas!

my uncle does body work and im tryin to get my parents to talk to him since im at school in FL and my car is in CT. Hopefully he will get rid of the trunk lock soon and then I'll post pix :banana:

After shaving my trunk, the lock just sticks out 100 times more than it ever did, i cant wait to get it shaved, or find a carbon fiber with no holes at all
i didnt realize when i shaved the front emblem how much the hood latch would stick out either, i just need some supertones to set it off...

I wanted to debadge my 06 front end, actually more playing with photoshop searching for ideas, but I didn't manage to come up wiht anything that looked good so I think I'll leave subaru emblem on:

if you don't like it, don't do it. it's the owners preference. i think that the emblem looked stupid, without it i think the front looks more aggressive and that is why i did it. my .02
