Can I switch my mph/tach in my stock guage cluster?

I've never taken it apart before.
But, if I can I would like to move the tach were the mph meter is and vice versa.
Is this possible?
I want it that way cause my RX is like that and I think it's easier to read.
thanks

yes you can do this and a matter of fact I think I was the first to do this.
In order to do this though you will have to have a new gauge face made and then all that is left is to switch the wires that run to the motors to the other motor.
At one point in time I was offering a kit to do this. I stop making these cause i got sick and tired of making them and I wasn't making much of a profit off them.
But your lcuky since I still have a few of the pieces left to make these. If you want I could through one together and ship it out to you.

I'm also interested.....

Err I don't make these, I just have one lying around that I never got around to installing.
I'd like $80 shipped for mine. That is what I originally paid for it.
You'll have to ask ImprezedRS how it lights up. It looks like it lights up blue, but I've never installed it, so I don't know.

How did you make the new guage faces? I'd like to do this but I'm not too big a fan of white guages...

I can do them in blue green and clear lighting. the light up using the stock gauge lights.

Outta curiosity, is it just a matter of changing a tinted sheet behind the gauge cutouts to change the color of the lights?
| Shinji N | 06-18-2003 04:00 PM |
Doesn't look like it would be fun to change after it's been made....

In the comic book Takumi's father drives a wrx.
This model is made by FUJIMI.
Someone buy my gauge faces please! Make an offer!

I would buy them but, I figured they would go for around $35.
Sorry but,
80 bucks is too much for me to spend on something that's just for looks right now. I'm getting a turbo kit and I really need to spend my money on a clutch, flywheel, and a guage houseing with guages.
I'll definately keep you in mind when I'm done boosting and ready for some more style..
Unless you would like to trade for something.
I have some RC car stuff...
HPI- Nitro 4WD MT (it needs axles)
Assoc. L3 electric 1/12 scale pan car carbon fiber rolling chassi
