Carbon Fiber Look Leather Interior
My leather place just showed me this new leather they got, it's real leather, the same high quality leather they use in their normal black, with the exception it has the carbon fiber pattern embedded into the leather.
It's really soft, but at the sametime seems like it has plenty of grip.
I am thinking about doing this carbon leather for the seating surface just to try something different and straight black leather on the sides.
What do you think?

It looks like cloth...like a wooly sweater.

Looks cool. Not as obvious as a two tone leather. Very subdued.

I agree ... I would not do an entire seat in it ... just the middle, as brucelee suggested. . . would look niiiice :)

It looks like regular cloth and not leather. Do they have any pics of it actually put on a seat?

Please do it just so everybody else can drool. OK, I don't like the fake CF dash stuff since its just some checkerboard pattern. At least this looks like it has some weave to it. Great visual effect.:D

It dosen't show up that good in the pics, but it looks very much like leather in person. I have the sample with me and you can't confuse it for cloth.

that looks a little bit like suede? It would look nice down the middle though and just flat black on the sides

looks like the same pattern on our stock WRX seats, but of course in black leather vs the mix of colors our seats are.

sideways: where did you pick up this sample ... I am debating the leather option and this looks like something that I would want to look into.
