Carbon Fiber STI Lip

I personally think that the STi V.1 lip in carbon fiber would look awesome on my car (yellow btw). But what do you guys think?
My concern would be that it would look like I couldn't afford to get the piece painted before I installed it. You guys know what I'm talking about! We've all seen those Hondas driving around with primered ricey body kits! :lol:
Here is the lip I was thinking! Would it look better if I got a carbon fiber sti hood scoop to offset it a little?

black/CF lips look good on the sonic yellow cars .. IMO .. but i think the CF scoop would be a great compliment, but if you have enough money for the scoop and lip than you can get any lip u want and get it painted id say

I have the CF v1 on my PSM and it looks good to me:D

Gotta paint that... I don't like nonpainted CF, unless its on a black car.... the colors will contract too much on your car... don't do it

If you're gonna paint it get fiberglass and leave the CF alone...painting CF is a waste.

Even if you cot carbon fiber mirrors, or side markers it would make the lip look much better. Maybe the STi cf wing.

I guess I gotta take some pics...I got the scoop from Daddy's SCP and he wants pics, too...I guess I gotta wash it, anyway..it rained the other nite and it got messy...I had lotas fun with the hot-rod crowd, though...the big hot-rod and show(biggest in the country, I think...5,000+ cars in the show at the speedway:O) Turky rod run was this weekend here in Daytona and I unbolted the axleback and gave 'em a big dose of boxer blast and burble....:devil:

It's not an STi scoop it's BIGGER than an STi scoop :devil:

Like mentioned above, get a fiberglass one and then paint it. The price difference for the fiberglass lip would be more than enough for paint. I think it would look better painted.

Not a great pic...but...i may black the whole front out and go with some Morettes...can't keep the grill with the Morettes...

You could always do something like this. I wasn't happy with the way the lip looked just raw CF, so I painted the sides and left the center unpainted.

im prolly gonna go the same route you are (when i have money that is :mad: )
i might go for a syms bumper or maybe chargespeed v2... something that no one has yet & is very aggressive & unique...
but for now im saving up for the utec & dyno tuning im gonna need for it :devil:

Is that lip made from real carbon fiber or just CB-look? $300 is a good price if it is, considering the fiberglass one is >$400. Plus you have option to paint it if you choose to.
