MrWRX2 04-09-2002 11:55 AM

It's way better than our OEM boost gauge...i think i will buy the cheapest one or the simple voltage gauge just to check it out...:)
Scoobs 04-09-2002 01:49 PM

I did not see an EGT gauge there in the reverse indiglo.. anyone know if they carry one?
SilverWRX02 04-09-2002 04:37 PM

I would get these. CUs I got reverse indiglo. But quality is a really really big question since they're soo cheap. There is no description whether its mech or electric too.
I need gauges, I was goin for omori gauges.
MrWRX2 04-09-2002 06:43 PM

I will give them a call...:alien:

They are made by AC Auto Technic. I am contacting the company to find out more info on these gauges. Here is a link to their website. It looks pretty outdated though.

I will post more info when I find out what I can on them. The tech department was gone when I called.

Info on gauges

Ok guys. I have some info on them. I spoke with one of the companies techs. All their gauges are electrical. They all come with the correct sensor also. Cept the boost gauge which I was told does not use it. He also said that they are all very accurated gauges. Good product.

They don't make an EGT gauge yet. He said it may be released in 8-10 weeks.

I am going to order some of these gauges. They look great and the price is good.

Here is the companies info if you still have questions.

They look really hard to read, at least to me.
SilverWRX02 04-10-2002 05:26 PM

awesome, looks like I will have to get these too. Do you guys know if this will fit the autometer a-pillar pod?
eRod 1.0 04-10-2002 05:52 PM

They are all 2" diameter. Hope that helps. I am having a kit fabricated, to go under my head unit. Like the sparco WRX in import tuner. :D

Hope that helps MrWRX2

Are these gauges 52mm or 60mm?
C Dust 04-10-2002 06:37 PM

"They all come with the correct sensor also. Cept the boost gauge which I was told does not use it."

Does this mean that the boost gauge would not be accurate?

I have the same question about the boost gauge too. boost gauge does not use what? doesn't use "it" as in the correct sensor?

52mm is 2 inch btw
C Dust 04-10-2002 10:07 PM

Does anyone have these in thier car, I am wondering what they look like. Is there a reason that anybody knows of why these gauges are so cheap compared to other ones?

-Mike
MrWRX2 04-10-2002 10:17 PM

I think AC-Autotechnic is made by Z-Speed in japan so quality is better, and still doesn't know why it's so cheap.
eRod 1.0 04-10-2002 10:54 PM

Sorry I can't answer your questions about the sensor on the boost gauge. What he told me is that it uses a vacuum hose or something in those lines. I was told they all have the necessary items to make them work correctly. Including the inverter for the indiglo.

That's why I posted the phone number, so you can ask any other questions.

I should be in some cave stacking rocks!
