DMS Americas hasn't picked up their phone for 3 weeks. I need a regreasing kit...

Does anyone know what's up with DMS Americas? They haven't picked up their phone for 3 weeks, I've been leaving messages, their e-mail box is full, and I need to order a regreasing kit. Should I just give up and order from Lachute?
Edit: Just got a callback. They're out of business, so www.lachutesubaru.com (www.dmsnorthamerica.com) is the primary contact for the US again.

I dunno what's up, but if you're unsuccessful after 3 weeks I'd definitely go somewhere else. Mark Moore has been really good about being helpful.
Esimates yet? :D

Who's Mark Moore? Is that someone from DMS Americas or Lachute? And no estimates yet...I just got home from Missouri, Exeter Subaru hasn't gotten back to me yet, and I'll jump back in the transmission thing this week.
Edit: Nevermind. Found Mark on www.dmshocks.com. :)

So, does this mean that we're stuck with the prices that are $500 more than they were last year, or will the prices come back down now that DMS Americas disappeared?

Prices will remain elevated. LaChute are great to deal with BTW! :-) LaChute is the prime conduit for DMS into North America.
From what I understand, DMS were being sold by many vendors with little pricing controls for actual DMS dealers. Margins were getting quite low and DMS decided to step in and set strict pricing and supply guidelines.
I don't like the higher prices either, but they're still the cheapest rally struts that can take the serious abuse.
Cheers! John

remeber that the higher price includes those new fancy PDE camber plates which are $$$$ anyway.

How much?

How much are they getting for a set of the 50mm rally struts now?
I was told that the prices were coming down. And that you could get a set for $2500(USD). I am picking up a wrx tomorrow, which will need a set.

Not sure where the pricing is at now Ted. When I bought my first set I got them for less than $2K. Then they went up to over $3K. If you call Mark at LaChute, he can give you the lowdown. The 40mm street units are quite a bit less than the 50mm gravel spec.

The 40mm street units are the biggest piece of garbage that you have ever seen in your life. You would be much better off on the stock struts/springs then running the POS waste of metal called the DSM 40.

I've never seen strut tops included as part of the price, is that something new? I have no experience with the 40mm units, but can say that the 50mm units are the best bang for the buck.

I've actually been trying to contact Mark for about a week now. Left a voicemail, an email, and a message with the receptionist... nothing. I'll guess I'll try again today. Anyone spoken to Mark in the last two weeks?

If Mark isn't available, try Julien. Mark hasn't returned my e-mail in the past week or so, but my regreasing kit showed up and my card was billed for the correct amount, so whatever. :D

Had the street 40s and even had them modified. Great units, but definately not enough for someone that can REALLY drive a rally car.
I beat the pi$$ outa mine and they held up, but there was some bottoming. The 50s have more travel, more fluid and are slightly beefier looking. Rebuilding wasn't too terrible either.
Only problems I had was dealing with DMS -USA. ARGH! Went through Lachute in the end for packing kit. Very painless, but they've always been cool at the CARS rallys. :)
No more SE-R, Ted?

Hey Mark, I have had absolutely no problems since you touched that strut, must have been a fluke. DMS North America is really cool and Mark is great to work with, he went out of his way to sovle a strange problem I had. DMS 50s are doing great, almost a whole year on them now without a servicing and doing great!
