I had the formels for a long time..I had one of the first sets..They are a pain to clean though.

One reason I don't like the sub zeros is that everybody and their mama had them or attacks when rotas first came out.

Sub zeros cause they have a spoke like the stock WRX wheels but more open easier to clean and they just have a nice clean look to them.

I have a set of gold sub zeros on my car and love them - like the nice clean simple look...the formels look too busy......just me though...

Yup, 17x7.5's...riding on STI pink springs...looks kinda tall in that picture...must be the angle...

More people have sub zeros I think, but I too like both the formels and the subzeros. What made me get the sub zeros was I wanted a dark rim with a polished lip...I dont think formels had a gunmetal with polished lip...and I dont even know how that would look on formels...

but sub zeros have simple lines and are easy to clean.

Here are mine in 18, on stock suspension (before I went to SPT springs).

Im a sucker for mesh wheels. But I dont really like the Rotas, I like Enkei's or BBS's mesh wheel better. Each has like 1 less spoke, making them simpler and less busy as someone put it.

Formels are very nice, but after cleaning the BBS wheels... I know the Formels are 5X more a pain in the neck to clean...

I like the Zero's with polished lips :) Mm.... Do you think black zero's & polished lip would look good on WRB Sti?

My Formel center caps don't have that red line... they must have changed it at some point.

If I were to pick between the two, I'd get the subzero over the formel.
Easier to clean, and looks slightly better imo.
