I was looking for more pix of the Do-Luck Impreza when I found this...
Its a GC8/GM6 bodykit I have never seen before... it looks like a dogs arse, but it's still interesting none the less... btw if any of you have pix of the Do-Luck Impreza that are not from the Do-Luck website, I'd be very thankful if you'd post them here... now on to the pix of that bodykit...:
The kit is called the TREX kit and has been especially designed to allow provision for a 800x300mm intercooler. All piping is to be run in the upper region of the bar therefore allowing you to retain the ever popular updated
factory fog light/indication section.
Suits the Impreza 96-2000.

the only way id even think of putting on that bumper is if i had a HUGE FMIC.
| Seraph | 09-04-2002 10:30 AM |
either that or you'd like to grow and display a trunkmonkey behind that huge IC mesh (fence), we can call it.......enginemonkey.

Maybe in about 6 months I'll have some pictures of my do-luck kit ;)
at one time there were actual pictures of the car, but since you did a search they've probably been taking down by now.

Good luck on the do-luck stuff <--- hey, that's got a ring to it :)
I'm NOT a fan of the front end, but the rear and sides are choice

BOY, does this change your opinion at all?
| sherifx | 09-04-2002 01:27 PM |
and here's a fuzzy shot of the rear

Do-luck is a nice kit, but for 3K, I rather spend that on handling rather then looks. If it was half that i would have bought the full kit.

MadMax... seeing as I'm building a 450-500hp circuit car... the bodykit is the last part... it'll finish the look :D... just keep looking for me a few years down the line as my project slowly comes togeather :D

Eh, much better but still a little too "boy-racer-ish", my taste may be in the minority though. I do admit the v5/6 chin spoiler is a little too subtle but I think that this front end is a little much, for me. I do like the lower portion of the bumper but the foglight/turnsignal area is too over the top for me. I'd be interested to see the lower portion as a lip spoiler -vs- the whole bumper.
I do wish you luck though. This kit does look quite functional, not rice-y, just not for me.

Sounds like a fun. Can I get a ride when it's done?

Ugh, that color is horrible. But hmmm these are the best pictures I've seen of the car. I was only going to get the rear bumper and front fenders but after seing this good shots, I'm not feeling the rear...the fenders are still cool though. :( Oh well I guess I didn't need any body parts anyways :D

Thats the Color i would really want "Super Bronze" one of a kind.
awsome awsome job.

No its a whole new bumper
| Andrew | 09-05-2002 04:31 AM |
where do you see that? all i saw is "rear bumper spoiler". unless that means a full bumper...
for the price it shoudl be a full bumper. i did a little search on RS25.com and it looks like you are right, it is a full bumper.

i might be wrong but i thought the kit was a "SUBORN" kit
personally i love that kit especially if you have a FMIC
even though not made for the USDM WRX

Looks like an Aussie car..
If you are going to go Do-Luck, don't half-a$$ it, they didn't design the kit to "just use the fronts" :)

Nice Car! Ikonosin, is the center plane on the rear wing CF? I just bought one, and can't wait to get it. The crappy 22B replica wing I have must go!

Not my car, so I'm not sure. I just borrowed the pics to post here. Other than the fenders and rear spoiler, I don't like that kit. Did you buy the Do-Luck rear spoiler? If so, where? nad hw much $$$?
Scott:)

The pic you found might be a kit that someone on here was making a long time ago. They came on and posted pics. I noticed that the front bumper looked a lot like the stock bumper with some modifications. Turns out, it was the stock RS bumper with basically just an extra section on the top and bottom.

I love the rear bumper and the skirts, but the first pic posted was kinda scary, the later gold one was amazing though!

When I look at the Do-luck kit, it seems that the make the fenders for a wide rim and tire combo, but I see no provisions for the same wide tire-wheel combo for the rear:confused: anyone else notice that? Then again it could be my age..........
| Silverscooby27 | 09-06-2002 06:36 PM |
Well, you're right. I know they make a front wide fender, but am pretty sure that they do not make a rear wide fender. If you roll the rears, however, you can go pretty darn wide.
| Scubaru | 09-07-2002 05:00 AM |
I dont know, i feel that its looks kinda off with only the front fenders wide. Kinda looks like half of a 22b or something.-Scu

Thats what a GD wagon would look like with flares in front :D
