Impreza bra

Is there a bra available for the '06? I have a job that involves a lot of travel and the front of my car takes one hell of a beating. I already bought the hood cover but I really need to protect the front bumper.

I'll admit, the vinyl type material isn't the prettiest thing out there, but as long as it takes the assault of bugs, tar, and anything else the road offers and my paint doesn't it'll do.

A bra will trap fine particales against your paint and it will be noticable after a season or so. Go with clear or nothing at all.

We're here. Some one say RockBlocker? Seriously though a Clear bra looks some much cleaner on the paint than a traditional black bra on your vehicle.
Can you see it?

+3, got it on my `05 and it's saved me several times so far. My suggestion is to get the full package including the A pillars and a piece on the leading edge of the roof.

yes, I installed it myself, but this is not for everyone to install as a DIY. We do recommend that you have an experienced installer do the work. For some reason Subaru owners are capable of doing th DIY more successful than other people, but that does not mean you can do it for sure. Check our site for more info and some tips on the installation process. Let us know if we can help with anything else. :)

Any installer located in Ohio or are there any plans for the future? Your site says that you are looking to expand. Can you share with us the areas that Rockblocker has in mind?
Thanks,
Brian

We are always looking for new businesses that want to get into a product like this. Right now for Ohio, I would recommend calling Mike at PFD in Dublin, OH. Mike is a good guy.

I've considered the clear bra too. Just something else for the bugs to go splat on other than my paint. Once it's on, does it stay on or is it removable when wanting to show the car off?

yes it stays on the vehicle for the life of it. You can remove it if you want too, but it is not reusable. In regards to the bugs, If you keep teh clear bra wash and waxed the bugs will come off the film better and easier than the regular paint.
Remember the film we use has a clear coated finish top coat to keep yoru front end with that high luster shine. Not all Clear bra kits offer this feature.

If removed would it leave any kind of sticky residue?
If removed would it leave any kind of sticky residue?
Yes it will, but that can be cleaned off without damaging the paint. better question why would you remove it?? Then you would get rock chips :)

If you have a new car or your front end is in good condition, get it. A lot of poeple told me to get this when I first bought my car a year ago and I wish I did now. I have a good amount of paint chips
