Indiglow pedals?
Has anybody put those indiglow pedals on their WRX?
Do they look cool or stupid?

havent put any on a scooby yet...we've sold some for other random cars. the white ones are pretty sweet. the blue ones are very very bright & the red ones are only slightly more dim. i dunno...theyre a cool guilty pleasure. they should be stupid...but they have an allure nontheless.

I saw these, they are a new style and kinda match the WRX pedals...you could always scratch off the type R brand name

PLEASE DON'T LOWER YOURSELF TO THOSE STANDARDS!! yeah i'm not one to tell others what to do to their cars but please don't do anything that DAW! those things are so horride looking - some buddies and i were just talking about how DAW those things are. but sure, if ya want you can get the clutch in yellow, the brake in red, and the gas in green - and a few bruises if ya mention them to anyone.

WRX Potential.....i am not flamin you, but a simple "no i dont like them would do". There is no reason to gettin all pissy about them, they are not going on your car and maybe he likes them.
I have seen a growing trend around here lately, people are just going with the general concensus rather than wut they really like.
imho, i say go for it...as long as the rest of your interior doesnt have crazy indiglo stuff all over it should look cool. They add a cool touch to your car and they arent flashy like crazy battle Z bumpers and wut not. Try them, just dont go overboard....dont listen to wut others say cause its your car and your $$

I think the idea of glowing pedals is cool, just not those. If the Blue was darker/deeper, and you had a nice glowing blue STI logo on it, I'd definatly buy them.

just one of those things, like form over function.
does anyone really need a 26 inch rim, its heavy and expensive, easily bent, and tires will kill your wallet, but people make it, and people buy it.
i personnally dislike them, and neon undercar kits, its very 80's, but i got that too. they get attention at indoor dark shows.

They look cool in night clubs but, in a car at night, will definitely do their part in helping you not see the road properly... IMO it's like aiming a flashlight into your eyes. Not anywhere near as extreme but in a car you want options and this might take that fraction of a second away from you. Yeah I'm a product of an overactive imagination! :)

My friend has them in his CRX and I like them, I didn't get them, could of though but for some reason I feel as if they are a more of a Honda thing than a Subaru thing, you feelin me right?;)

I don't mind being part of the "import scene", and enjoy being a "Suby ambassador", however, I don't understand how hack items such as this seem to go in hand w/ the scene. Yeah-- I kno a simple "I don't like" can suffice, but it is due to items like this, that some people jump on the bandwagon and create this hack appearance (persona). I say leave this stuff for Hondas, and maintain the integrity of the Suby. Some may be offended, some may not get it, but to those that understand--cheers! After all, Subys were born and raised in the dirt :)

Hey I have a really clean accord, and it doesn't have any of that crap though. Than again, I am selling my honder to get a wrx this spring. I agree that stuff is kinda lame. Its like the neon shifter, and all the other neon swill.

it may not be indiglo pedals... but it seems Subaru isn't completely without interior lighting dressup.

I've looked at those pedals before, and sans type r logo, I think they'd look pretty good. I would like to know how bright they are, because I would hook them up so they come on with the dome light, lighting the floor a little better. I definitely wouldn't want them on when I'm driving though.

Watch out with the pedals!!!!!
I will be a man and admit that I was mesmerized (sp) by the Glow pedals and bought a set for my suby. They look absolutely awsome on the car and they do not shine in your eyes or anything like that. The main problem is that they are not designed for suby gas pedal. They gas pedal was off of the car within a week b/c the first time i stepped on the gas with the new pedals...NOTHING...the new pedal did not allow the pedal to go to the floor. Beware if you like to drive aggressively.
Otherwise they look great and really matched my total blue neon trend.

I like 'em
I have them and they don't distract you a all (unless you are 2 feet tall and stare at your feet while you drive). They are very subtle and match the color of my car pretty well. Most people do not even notice them. Since people bring up its use, then why is there a dress-up and style section of the forum? Fact is people do a lot of non-performance things to thier car. Maybe those concerned purely with performance should keep their opinions to performance oriented forums. Most things that 'dress up' a car and make it more stylish will not add performance. I am personaly amazed when people ask for advice on things that are purely opinion. Do you like it or not?, who cares what anyone else thinks, they don't drive your car. Just my .02.
