Midnight Black BodyKit??
I want to get the OEM Subaru underspoiler kit. One problem....I have a black WRX..:(
Does anyone know if any vendors can get a Midnight Black factory color kit from the UK or Japan?
Would it make any sense to but the underspoiler kit in one of the other colors and just get the whole thing painted? I know it will probly cost a fortune.

crap just checked they dont have the under spoiler in black that sucks cause i was planing to get mine form them. they have the wing in black tho o well

I don't think so...I went onto subaruparts.com and they don't even offer it in those colors..:( Someone told me they only offer it in those colors in Japan..go figure...

OK, so where can you buy the kit from? Can you just not get it in MBP? Can you get it unpainted and then have the body shop guys paint after putting it on?

just get another color and have it custom painted even though that would be a major pain in the ARSE, but what else can you do, unless you ask subaru your self to have it painted and shipped to you

it's not THAT much trouble nor expensive..
beats the hell out of stock paint if you decide to go quality..
factory painted is just a way for manufacturers to make some extra money (which is good in a way, but i wouldn't have that extra money to spend)

uk i know for sure...cuz someone else on the forum got their kit from them...i'm just gonna get the aspen white one and get it painted! :D

I've got a midnight black bodykit. The front was actually silver, but painted black. The rears came from the UK. Sideskirts are still stock ugly black.

Primitive racing has a replica
Contact Paul Ekland at Primitive Racing - he sells a very good replica of the OEM body kit that you can get and have painted (that's what I did). However, you will have to manufacture your own mounting equipment (it uses the same spots as the OEM, but you need to get some hardware to make it work).
